Does that future even still exist, and if it doesn't what the hell happened to her? Strange that Peter would just forget about her.

Well, she was left in the future. When Peter changed the future she would be stuck in whatever that reality equated to. The reason he left her there was the idea that when he changed continuity then she'd be safe in a normal continuity just losing four years of her life. With the futures changing for the worst she would be privy to whatever happens with the timeshifts. When Peter shifted the future by stopping the Shanti virus he lost the ability to go back to that specific time because if he traveled he'd go into a different future. Essentially she'd be lost to him, he'd have to search and anything could have happened including death when she arrived to Ireland with whatever the future changed to. He'd have to actively search for her and he has been preoccupied obviously in the here and now.

I agree with Peter being stuck in Clark mode. Just like with Smallville, it's frustrating to watch a character develop to the point that they're ready to step up to the next level, but the writers keep holding them back.

That is true regarding Peter, but the truth is he kinda always annoyed me anyway. But I think that has as much to do with Milo's one-dimensional acting style as anything else. Even when he's supposed to be a badass there is still something quite weenie-like about him.

I absolutely love this show. It's my favorite show on TV. I'll admit I've been hard on season 2, but that was mostly in comparison with the high bar set by season 1. Even with the things I disliked about season 2, I would rather watch it than most other things on TV.

BTW is it bad form to do this? :monkey3

Third I think Linderman is either some form of Nathan's imagination...or Matt's dad.

:winner

There was one episode, can't remember if it's season 1 or 2, where Peter is in the future with Hiro, and he arrogantly asks Hiro if they should stop time or not for the fight. That's the Peter I was hoping we'd have by now.

I knew Linderman couldn't be Linderman, but Matt's dad never even occurred to me for some reason. It seems so obvious in retrospect.

Yes and no. Matt's dad was placed into his own mental prison by Matt. He'd have had to find a way out of his own mind before he could do anything.

Although his power is not unique.

As for today's episode so far I like Peter, giving into the anger and the hunger, its about time we see some progression. I hate the actual narrator especially using fan terms like "HRG" when referring to Noah. I did like the confrontation with Sylar and Peter, showing Peter's anger and willingness to kill when prompted and the fact Sylar was able to come back from it without fail gave them both a whole new level.

Thought that episode sucked. The characters just don't act like people would. It's like Greys Anatomy with super powers.

WTH? Linderman talking with Daphne with a vision as well? Its gotta be a telepath pulling the strings using him as an avatar. As for Hiro, his power was to travel through time, how is he able to teleport Adam back and forth through the casket??

Huh? You were just talking about Matt's dad (they even showed him coming out from behind one of the pillars of the building) and he is the one projecting Linderman...thought you had that figured out earlier?

Hiro is obviously just freezing time and throws Adam back into the casket.

:lol I'm posting in real time....technically posting in TiVo time since I'm about a commercial break behind so I can skip the commercials. That part hadn't happened yet, part of understanding is allowing your thoughts to flow freely as you think so you can come to the most logical deduction..... Maury Parkman being controlled by Arthur Petrelli is definitely a twist I didn't see coming, the question being who exactly pulled him out of Matt's imposed coma? How much power would Arthur have to have to be able to control while paralyzed....and still induce fear.....huh....

Anyone note that Petrelli's doctor slightly resembles the "Arthur Petrelli" from the Company photo?

This episode was much better than last weeks (thank goodness). I'm still not as excited for this show (as I was in a good portion of season one) but I'm not in give-up mode right now so that's a good sign (for myself). I'm sorry, but I did have to laugh with the big, fancy bed in the sterile hospital-like room where Arthur Petrelli is. Yes, we get it, he's rich and eccentric but it just came across over the top (and yes, I realize the whole concept of the show is over the top but I just found like it was being 'piled on' ha!).

Well, next week's episode looks interesting.

Tonight's episode was one that begs for a backstory. Arthur Petrelli was obviously calling Adam Monroe to be a blood donor to heal himself from whatever caused his present condition. That leaves so many more questions than answers especially on why Angela told her boys that he committed suicide to the point of having a funeral, etc.

Well, with him being evil as all get out, I guess she was trying to protect them from him.

So many cool parts to this episode. The Puppet Master character looks cool, but kinda useless. I am almost getting sick of all these additional characters. I like the main few and can understand adding a few more, but this is turning out to be like a crappy version of the X-Men. I love the show, but I'd like to see them concentrate on the main characters a bit more, with back stories and such.

I strongly dislike Mohinder's storyline so far. (Maybe they can get Jeff Goldblum to do a cameo.)

They should do a spinoff sitcom where Peter's Irish girlfriend moves into an apartment with Nathan and Matt's wives, and they get into wacky trouble after being written out of Heroes.
