The stuff with Mohinder is really starting to piss me off. Stop with the horror/sci-fi "homages" and just kill the guy already. I can't believe how badly they've screwed over that character.

Rest of the episode was decent.

Mohinder has sucked as a character ever since Season 1 ended.

YES !!!! PLUS, he finially "killed" the rest of the telemundo twins, I'm SOOOO hoping she was dead.

I do agree that Sylar is quite awesome. But does anyone else think that his "hunger" kind of takes away a little bit from his character. Instead of making rational decisions and choices to take others' power, he "had" to because of this hunger. Makes him seem less in control and more of a slave to his need rather then a master of it. Makes him seem a little weak IMO; which isn't what I thought the character was all about.

Ah, we can only hope (that was my thought as well tonight) but I don't believe she is dead. Given the not so dead neighbor I'm thinking perhaps it's some kind of holding cocoon. She'll be freed at some point to annoy the viewers once again I'm sure. :monkey2

It was her and Mana Petrelli, two deaths that I wanted to happen, got SOOOOOOO close, yet so far

Thought that episode sucked. The characters just don't act like people would. It's like Greys Anatomy with super powers.

That's actually a larger issue that bugs me on the show... its like none of the characters have any common sense. I like the overall story and tone, but feels like the character writing and development is really lazy.

For instance, even though Hiro is an idiot he wouldn't release Adam, Claire would eventually get a clue and stop being so whiney, etc. etc.

Its something I generally I just tune-out, but it does feel like they are not trying very hard at times to make the characters 3 dimensional.

The hunger doesn't bother me, I think of it like being on a diet, you can get a craving for a Big Mac and fries, but you don't have to eat it. You can choose to give in to the craving, or stick to the diet. Provided Sylar know killing people is wrong he has the choice to give in to this hunger and murder, or resist it, we've seen he can do the latter by the future. So in a way choosing to continue to kill, is choosing to continue to be evil.

I was also quite pleased when Maya got put in the cocoon, hope she dies in there. The people who do the show have to know fans hate her (I feel kinda sorry for the actress) and get rid of her soon.

I have a feeling this subdued Sylar will either lead to a more violent and villainous Peter (since they are opposite sides of the coin) or Sylar will realize that he can't escape who he is and really go on a killing spree.

Is Maya a waitress or something? What does she do all day long when she isn't "hanging around" Mohinder's lab?

Yeah, for someone who is so afraid of her power, why is she out of the lab so much?

I guess the writer's kept her on the show purely as an excuse to turn Mohinder into the Fly/Alien because she serves absolutely no other purpose to the story.

Out of all the characters that I can't stand anymore, I am EXTREMELY tired of Hiro. He should just get lost in time forever already.

I'm hoping for the latter. But a darker Peter would be a good result to get along with it.

This episode annoyed me. I'm not bothered by Mohinder, I'm kind of interested in where that is going. But Claire's stupidity in first attacking black hole guy with a taser and then trusting her father kind of pissed me off. Also Marilyn's stupidity in going after the puppet master when she knew what he could do.

And what's with people with super powers (freeze lady) wanting to kill themselves when they have a cool super power? That's just dumb too.

And why hadn't Peter absorbed his mom's power long, long ago - shouldn't he be having precog dreams? And where was Parkman?

Anyone else bothered by Matt's dad carrying around folders so it looks like Linderman is giving them out?

I want so much to like this show - but it seems to get dumber every episode.

Peter did absorb his moms power. It was his first ability. He had the dream about him and his brother flying, then had a number of precog dreams in season 1. The havent touched too much on it this season except for his mom saying "where do you think you got your first ability from? The precog dreams came from me".

Other then that I agree 100%. I want to love this show but it just keeps getting weaker.

Linderman is being used because he was a feared but respected individual in this universe. Maury Parkman was a bit of a joke. So, the idea was that people would be believe Linderman over someone like Parkman, not to mention it was an immediate tie to Nathan.

The Tracy suicide attempt and Stephen suicide last night is the martyr syndrome that is high, its the idea that with great ability some become servants and some become gods. Sylar chose the latter becoming an instrument of destruction having himself transcend the others while Tracy for example feels so much remorse about using their powers against humanity that they feel the instant urge to atone and follow the old "Eye for an Eye".

There are a couple of things that are bothering me. The "given" abilities Heroes and the "born" Heroes are definitely getting confusing because there has to be a reasoning to divide the ability groups that isn't really showing itself even in the future line, unless those who are given feel so tampered with they must be vindicated by taking it out on society therefore becoming the actual villains....

Mohinder's transformation is bugging me too, he seems to be pulling all traits of multiple insects and seems to be turning into one, this would mean that this ability exists or the precursor for it so why aren't there any other humanoid animals out there?

Usually I'm against the SPOILER tag in a Spoilers thread but just in case people don't want their season pushed too far forward here is what was confirmed by the production team in a recent Q&A:

Here’s the little spoilers summary which was released last week from the Heroes cast and directors.
-No clones involved at all in the Niki/Tracy story line
-Maury was in Level 5 when everyone escaped so stay tuned
-Not all of the founders kids are related, but there is one “genetic trend”
Meredith is immune by all effects of fire
-It is very possible that Dr. Strauss from the GN could have helped Dr. Zimmerman create Tracy
-Echo from the Webisodes will appear in Episode 13 titled War.
-Hiro can NOT stop time, just slows it down to such a point it seems like it is stopped.
-Hiro’s mother’s powers will be revealed before the end of Volume 3.
-Nathan will have his head sliced open “Sylar-style”
-Episode 12 is Titled Our Father and will feature a scene with two characters traveling to the past to the moment on the “roof” when HRG was handed Claire.
-In Episode 10 Hiro shares a scene with The Turtle
-By Episode 09 we will know about Peter, Nathan and Sylar’s powers and if they are some how related.
-Episode 08 - Flashback episode which is a prequel to the pilot
-Episode 08 titled “Villains” will show us Sylar’s first kill.
-Hiro and Ando will not interact with any of the Season 1 Heroes until Episodes 08/09

Not sure I like taking the Graphic Novel and Webisode stuff and throwing into standard continuity since its getting to spread thin and watered already but still haven't found anything on the "Deaths"....

Screw it since its already posted at E! Online in a very blunt form it'll be around the web in days anyway so here it is:

WHAT'S TO COME
A Hero Is Going Six Feet Under! And I think most of you will be OK with who this soon-to-be-dead hero is. She (yes, she) has been grating on my nerves personally since day one of this-here season three. (Mostly because I want her off of my hot specimen of a former human.) Is that too obvious? Whoopsie!
A Villain Is Going Six Feet Under! And the real crime? Poor fella just got out of there...Yes, a villain you and I both love is going down next week, and once he's gone, he's not coming back. Sadness.
So, what say you, are you gonna miss these two from the show? I know I'll miss one of them. Your comments, sobs, rants, raves and requests for photos of Sark shirtless in order to console you are welcome below. Meanwhile...
Mohinder Goes From Bad to Worse: No one knows what he plans to do with those cocoons, but he wants to add two more—he's thinking of putting in a Nathan-Tracy duplex. Ruh-roh.
Claire Discovers Why She's Special: Remember when Uncle Sylar cut off the top of her head and told her she was "different"? Before too long we will learn why and how that special-differentness came to be, and you will not be surprised to learn that the reason has everything to do with Grandma Angela, Grandpa Arthur and the whole previous corrupt generation of Heroes. (Think back to when Kaito Nakamura handed off Baby Claire to HRG.)

Ugh. They better handle the Adam Monroe death well because the regeneration power has made him all but immortal at this point because of the constant regenerating. A telepath could turn his mind "off" and then his regeneration would never take place but it better be better than bullet in the head....while Maya IS annoying I certainly will miss her and her rack on Monday nights.

NO WAY WILL I MISS MAYA. As for the 1 hero and 1 villain to die, I hope it's Maya and Mohinder. I know it's not going to be, but I can always dream can't I? Now with the formula being discovered, there really isn't a point in having Mohinder on the show. he wanted to understand the genetics and how people have "powers". Now that we know that a lot of people have synthetic powers and there already is a formula , there really is nothing for Mohinder to add to the plot.

Well and just the idea that Noah would have a box full of (I assume) highly confidential files about the bad guys of level 5 sitting out in the open in the living room is ridiculous. There are a lot of little things meant to make the story progress that are done so sloppily that it does really effect the quality of the show.
