Whats up with Hiro stabbing Ando?

I'm sure there's some gimmick to it. There's no way Hiro would just stab Ando like that. Even with the writers trying to setup Hiro not trusting Ando with that bit in the future, Hiro just stabbing him like that is totally out of character.

Yeah, I'm sure he froze Ando in time or something before he did it or some other trickery. Or I sure as hell hope so.

Maybe that's why we see Ando hadouken Hiro in the future!! Maybe because of that and Ando really thought he went over to the baddies.

I hope they wrap up the plotline of Peter's girlfriend that he left in the season 2 alternate future. The Irish chick. :duff

I was thinking it was either 2 things:

1) He stopped time and put something between Ando's body and shirt and just stabbed that thing to make it look like he stabbed him.

or

2) He actually did stab him and that's the reason why Ando uses Sith Lightning on Hiro in the future.

I think it would have to be #1. You have seen how close Hiro and Ando have been since the first episode and I don't think that Hiro would turn on Ando so fast and actually try to kill him. I mean if George Lucas was writing Heroes, then I could imagine that Hiro could turn so fast to the dark side, but since he isn't, I don't think that #2 is correct.

The problem with Hiro stopping time is that it doesn't work on Daphne. Or is there a nuance in how she does that that I missed? Unless she's in on Hiro's trick and okay with it, which could be interesting. I just love how Hiro says "nemesis" everytime he sees her.

Wasn't the speedster girl there though? Even if Hiro had frozen time, she'd still see what was going on.

Well, every time they have shown Hiro stop time with Daphne, she was speeding at the time he was stopping time. So technically, he doesn't stop time, just just slows it down. Since she was super-speeding at the time he was slowing down time, they would appear to be the same speed (with him slowing it down and her super-speeding)

The writers have already said that Hiro doesn't stop time completely, he slows it to the point of it seeming stopped. He did freeze Daphne in the premiere of this season in his father's office. Remember he had to go out into the lobby to see her in mid run. What happens is that now that she knows it when she sees him she starts running and speeding up so counterbalance.

It's obviously SOME sort of trick. Maybe he just figures he will go back in time and fix it later. However, seeing as this is most likely a trick....why can't the future Ando/Hiro encounter be the same type of trick?

It could be, but I'm thinking Ando having powers makes it part of the "bad" future they are trying to avoid. If they can keep that future from happening this betrayal won't happen.

Argh, the future they are trying to avoid...peter turning bad, sylar being good....

I'm really ready for a super heroes and super villians team. Clear cut good and bad guys. I understand that if super powers existed it most likely wouldnt be as clear cut as the comic books, but I can't think of one person in Heroes that is definately good, or definately bad. At least first season had Sylar being definately evil.

It was predictable as hell, but Claire finally does something badass for the first time since encountering Sprague in Season 1. :rock

Damn I love this show. I think this may have been the best episode of the season so far. And this season is every bit as good as the first one, maybe even better since there isn't so much power exploration and discovering each other etc.

Wow, so I see where Peter & Gabriel got their powers, but since Nathan's power is fake, I'm wondering if Arthur is really Nathan's father??

Arthur's power is very, very badass!! Love the way he get's his powers!! Poor, poor Adam!! I really liked him too!!

I've always like David Anders as an actor too, it kinda sucks he won't be on the show anymore!! :monkey2

I thought the explanation of Ando's stabbing would be a little more interesting, but it did turn out to be just a time freeze trick after all.

Peter as a character has turned out to be such a dud. It's obvious the writer's have no idea what to do with such a powerful character so they just keep him from using them. Whether it be through his fear of blowing up New York, or taking away his memory, or putting him in a coma and now daddy taking them away. At least on Smallville they get rid of the kryptonite once in a while. On top of this, they're turning Sylar into a vagina.
