I think the biggest problem is a lack of structure. They know the beginning and I think they know the end, but they have a hard time finding how to get from point A to point B.

One power at a time at least explains why he was worried about falling out of the plane. So what happens when he touches Sylar?

Well, if I truely think of what'll happen, I might mess my pants!!!! Well, he'll get Sylar's powers and go running amoke!! Maybe that'll be the change when he really becomes the "terrorist" and Sylar becomes the good guy.

I liked the last episode, but I'm pretty bummed that Peter can only absorb one power at a time. I think it just takes something away from his character, and I was really looking forward to him being badass with all his powers again. Oh well, it'll be interesting to see how he develops, and how the show develops.

So let me get this straight. Sylar go visits his "dad", but his dad tells him his brother is his real father and gives him a address. Sylar goes to this address, gets ambushed and defeats them, randomly takes one of the surviving swat guys to the guys house to torture his family so he will give up info. This swat guy has a kid who has powers who just happens to know Sylars real dad.

WTF? people get paid to come up with this ^^^^?

I saw no indication that Luke was the son of the SWAT guy. Sylar was just using Luke and his mom to get the SWAT guy to spill the beans. Protecting the innocent and all that jazz. I mean, it's one thing for someone to stab you in the hand to make you talk, but it's another thing entirely to watch some innocent person get butchered because you won't talk.

Um, did you even watch the last 2 episodes?? That's not at all what happened.

Sylar went to see someone he thought was his dad, the watch maker. Found that's not him. His "dad" gives him an address, but he doesn't live there anymore and sees one of those SWAT-type dudes at the house next door. I think they were trying to get the kid. Sorry, but I was making out with this girl from my photography class when that part was hahppening last Monday.

Sylar does his torture thing to get what he wants and the kid kills the SWAT guy with his power as Sylar is about to kill the family (who is not his family but lived next door to his real dad) which is a bad-ass microwave power!!!! Surprised the kid saved him, but he is a little messed up in the head like Sylar, so who the hell knows. So the kid tells Sylar he knows where his dad is and they set off on a merry adventure.

Well last night, the kid is kinda screwing with him and they end up at a diner cause that's what the kid wants. He starts to trust Sylar and gives him the address and then the SWAT guys bust in. Sylar protects the kid and then leaves him to the guys, doing what everyone expects. Well, then we see the softer side of Sylar and he "supposedly" comes back for this computer, but grabs the kid at the same time. Ah, it was so beautiful!!

So, there is what really happened. Enjoy!!

Any confusion let me know, I just got to work and I haven't had any coffee yet, so sorry!!

Agreed, Peter only having one power at a time is lame. What made Peter cool was the fact that he had the powers of all those heroes at once, making him a kind of uber-hero. But now he's just another guy who can do what someone else can already do.

I think its lame too, although I still think he is a semi-uber hero. If you think about it, the ability to use ANY power you come in contact with, even if its only one at a time gives you the ability to adapt to any situation.

I'm anxious to see what happens when he touches Sylar. Will he gain JUST Sylars ability to understand, or will he gain all of the powers that Sylar has unlocked as well? It seemed that Aurther Petrelli gained all the powers Peter had come in contact with....

Also, going back a while...didnt the the doctor that created Ali Larters powers say there were three of them? Ones dead, ones contained....so help me, if Ali Larter dies AGAIN and her "sister" makes her first appearance on the show Ill never watch again. Unless of course the third sister's ability is to make her clothes invisible :monkey5

So I thought last night's episode was an improvement. Nothing incredibly stupid happened anyway.

The episode was redeemed for me by Tracy's escape. When it happened I thought - "well this might be cool if Nathan planned it to prove his point". And then they took it even an extra step and made it the evil military guy's plan. So Nathan has the chance of redemption.

But what doesn't make sense - Nathan got his directive straight from the President - who believed him about the power people. And now this DHS gal comes in and can shut the program down because she doesn't accept the basic premise that the President has already signed off on?

I hated yesterday's episode...
nothing makes sense anymore, and seems like they just pull characters and stories out of their asses...
no structure, no objectives, nada...
what a mess...
at least next week's episode seems to FINALLY deal with HRG's motivations...
we'll see...
the thing is that currently, I don't care about any of them Heroes...
maybe Hiro, but everybody else just keeps doing stupid stuff...
Claire did sort of redeemed herself by finally speaking up...
the worst part right now is they're turning Sylar into a wuss again...
so he has daddy issues, boo-hoo... WTF???
I'm already sick of this Luke kid... ughhh!!

Yeah, I thought it was stupid when Sylar came back for him, before the soldiers came in he had told him that he doesn't have any emotion and only cares about his goal, then he leaves him--I was like "hah, stupid kid he just said he doesn't care about you"

Then he came back like a loser.

If you think about it, the ability to use ANY power you come in contact with, even if its only one at a time gives you the ability to adapt to any situation.

But that only works if he's in a situation with someone who just happens to have an effective power. But what if he's in a gunfight and the only guy around is the kid who can breathe underwater?

Anyone else looking forward to the time when military dude finds out that Nathan has his own super-powers and turns on him? I mean, it's pretty obvious it's going to happen at one point or another this season, so I can't wait to see that smug hypocrite get a taste of his own medicine. The only problem is that I don't see any way for Nathan to come out of this season unscathed - his character might just have to die.

completly forgot about last nights episode, but it doesnt seem like anything really all to great happened anyways. I should of set up the dvr to record all the new shows but said, eh Ill do it later.

Oh I said I think its lame, however, if Peter is in a gun fight the potential to use a helpful power exists. The underwater breathing kid gets in a gun fight and he better hope the bullets are made out of water....
