When, today? Ha, ha! I knew we'd get better luck with the other toy fairs coming in. Still won't spring for it, though. $350 + $30 shipping is way more than the original price. I'll wait until a better deal, or just sit tight and hope my WL converts. If not, oh well. More money for the next Preds. No way I'm dropping over $250 inc shipping on this.

Yup, apparently the seller put up 2 Guard Pred for $300 BIN, and then another 2 more for $350 BIN.

Now he has another 2 up for $350 BIN...

So he is getting 6 from Asia Toy Fair...

Sorry for the confusion - each auction had 2 quantities, but $300-$350 for each Guardian Pred.

The $300 ones are gone already. Just a BIN for $350 left, but it says "2 available."
An awesome deal, I suppose. But some of the feedback this guy has is a little unsettling. I'll wait to see if any better prices show up. If not, then that's that.

Oh, well. At least this means that all hope is not lost. I knew that people would put up more Toy Fair orders.

I kidd... It does seem funny that a seller, even from Asia, would sell this low when they're going as high as 800 ATM.

The box design really. I'm guessing they're trying to save money by making the Predator boxes smaller. Like the P1 box. Saves us the trouble of putting them together.

I'm glad I waited. The Asian sellers are coming out to play as I expected. Just snagged one for $350. I see another one up right now if anyone is interested! I hope it comes through though, but I knew they would sell for less.

I have a feeling if the Guardian Predator is really limited to only 500 then chances are slim that the seller would pick up all 6 at Toy Fair.

I really don't mind HT doing all the work for me, especially with how limited this seems to be. I couldn't imagine how tough it might be to replace a part if something were to break... even with SS's awesome customer service!

Well, I'm hopeful on this one, but again you never really know until it's all said and done. The seller seems to have a decent track record with most of his complaints being in regards to shipping package. He also seems to have mostly Hot Toys related items sold in the past, so perhaps he has a connection with the company. He is an Asian seller afterall... I'll definitely let the board know how this goes. Other than this, I'm hoping my wait list reserve comes through or a good friend will sell me his as a very very last resort. So much trouble for this figure and it's not even due out for a few more weeks...

To me, the whole Hong Kong thing is iffy. I've done business with HK sellers before, but this is a preorder that he is claiming to be getting 6 of. So it's like all of these fishy things coming together makes me uneasy. But, we still haven't heard of anyone selling these from the Tokyo Toy Show (which is next week)!
Over the next couple months, things will probably pick up. This is, hopefully, just the beginning.
