I agree. I don't think HT should make this figure. Should remain custom work if you like and want to go after that design.
I don't agree with BDE being a ____ty short film. I thought it was good and enjoyed it. I have it saved on my favorites!

Not to say anything bad about Asia sellers, but hope the buyers know what they're getting into..... especially at that price and how he got that many quantity.
what do you mean about Asian sellers? I bought my Predator 2 Elder from Singapore. No problems. Very nice and very brand new.

How many times had we read on the forums about recasts/fakes/knockoff coming from the East (Asia, Philipines, Malaysia, HK... not Asians)?..... nuff said.
But you ALSO still have doubts about the box...... nuff said.
I'm glad you had good experience in the past. And i'm not bashing on the seller's in the East. I'm just saying buy with caution. There's always gonna be a few bad apples from the batch.

I'd be so pissed if I found out my Elder was a fake. Far as I can tell it's authentic. Plus HT is based out of Honk Kong right? So I'd expect for the Asian population to have an easier time getting a hold of these figures. Plus they'd be really hard to duplicate. Not impossible just really hard.

i would buy it at those prices, i need it to go with my elder
Eh, not really. But even so, the fairs of this summer haven't even begun. And we were right; the closer they draw, the more these guys go up for less. It takes time and maybe $230 is a bit too low, but under $400 is clearly possible now.

You kind of alluded to things from Asia may be fake. So then you started a panic. Although, I have never heard of any fake Hot Toys Predators, unless bios count. But those are recasted for customizers and what not. And I know, no matter how you cut it, its called recasting. Don't need to tell me thats what I do.

Well, regardless of whether or not we missed our chance earlier today, there's no way I'm spending $400 on a Pred. My Celtic was the only exception and for good reason; it's an older and rarer figure that has reached the $800 mark on feeBay and has no chance of decreasing in price due to its discontinuation. Never again, I vowed... and worth it!

I guess it all have to do with how people reads it or interpreted it. Now, now people.... no need to recheck your past Predator boxes And even members here agreed why was he selling it at $300 when same place where he listed (Ebay) was scalping it like crazy. Bottom line.... it's just a message of precaution. Simple as that.
Most sellers started out cheap. They got more expensive when they noticed the prices others went for.

yep, now that same seller bumped it up again to $550.
heykool pointed that out earlier. The situation sucks, but that's life. Dunno if any other sellers will start out as cheap. We'll just have to wait.

To clear the air I was not in a panic. I was stating why I believed talk of fakes arose.
Also, only 550 Wolf Cleaner Exclusives were made for Sideshow...
