i know some have said the VI is less glossy than the IV but I have the VI right now and its glossy as hell...no complaints at all about the finish here

And for those still interested...

UPDATE on MISSING KNEE GUARD:

The seller shipped me a replacement body but he shipped it as cheap as possible so its taking forever (its been like 3 weeks already) Its in NY today so I think I should have it tomorrow.

Once it comes I'll take pictures of both the clean armor and BD armor side by side for you all to look at and make you want it even more :D

perhaps he gave you the tracking number to another buyer... definitely need to follow up with the seller!

yeah i already contacted him again.

He said once i swap the knees to send the rest of the body back to his US store so I'm thinking he might have sent the body to he US shipper first...we'll see once he replies...

The Mk VI I believe is true to form as far as finish goes. I'm not sure why people compare him to MK IV.

IMO the VI really should have less of a gloss because he's battle damaged.

speaking of gloss i just got the MKIV and i notice that the pelvis "Speedo" region has a slightly less glossy finish. even looks a tad less red. i'm guessing it's because the plastic under the paint is different that rest of body (it even feels softer there). this reminds me of the waist region on the MKIII, and it ended up turning colors over time.

is the pelvis of VI like this?
anyone think it might change color?

the IV and VI have a rubber speedo on to allow for movement. My VI matches perfectly to the rest of the body. I dont believe this one will fade as its painted more than the III where the rubber itself faded.

Ok I was wrong sorry. It was the 25 day for the regular. So now waiting on something for the Ex.

Odd the there is no notice on the Ex yet, but there was on the reg.
Figured it would be the other way around

Also, received the 25 day notice from SS for the 2 Mark VI regulars. Can't wait to get these in hand.

Now, I just need the notice for the EX. :wink1:
