should be an easy fix for anyone with some super glue
it would be cheaper for them to just produce extra chest pieces to send out rather than recalling and repacking everything...
or
we just fix it ourselves...two little pegs are easy to fix
I am pretty sure they will have this corrected for the US release. I hope, but HT needs to do something for the people who are getting these now. Figure is looking amazing otherwise.
how do you know which batch?
Besides, the Superglue does not seem to me to be the most suitable adhesive. The plastic model glue would be better, I think (it depends on the type of plastic).
But whatever the glue, it will not work because these pegs have a very small contact area for a significant length, so that the bonding, as good as it is, will never be able to resist for a long time to such effort.
Absolutely agree, but I will add...only if an error in manufacturing/defect exists. In this case it's a little tricky. And anyway, if error there, it belongs to HT to rectify it, not to his customers...

HT could argue that this is a "battle damaged" look and that it is NOT suppose to sit flush or fit together well. It's part of the look they are trying to achieve.
My opinion is that this was overlooked. Since their initial fittings and prototype testing with the Mk.IV body, someone "forgot" to make the necessary adjustments to the battle damaged chest piece of the Mk.VI after the holes on the chest were moved up 2-3mm.
The reason I say this is because the gap created, that space underneath the chest piece, is too symmetrical. The gap is equal from left to right.
Really?
The BD chest piece seems to fit fine in this pic:
Damaged the paint?I bought a second loose Iv body (just the body+ fists and flaps) so when i get the VI figure i will display it battle damaged and use the spare light up neck form my first iv on the second iv body and the left over stark reveal sculpt from the vi will then go onto that.
I'm not big into buying two of the same figure, but in this case i could not live with my iv as i damaged the paint above his leg(first time i ever damaged a figure myself) so i feel much better now that i have a second iv body.
Can't wait to get this figure! ,but i won't display the damage on the legs as it look really unrealistic imo.
