Ahhh, it was that OMG guy....as a Photographer myself, that guy's photography rocks. His photos of Hawkeye sold me on the figure. I placed the order right after seeing them.

His pictures are amazing. Really bring the figures to life. Can't wait to see what he does with Cap.

I JUST bought mine today from Toy Anxiety in Phoenix. I had been stalking their website for about the last week, just putting "Hawkeye" in their search box. All that kept coming up were pieces and parts. Then this morning around 9am I put it in and the boxed figure came up!

I ordered it, then emailed them to confirm that they actually had him in stock. They said that they did, and that they don't put their entire inventory in their online store. Right after I bought mine, the figure no longer showed up on their website any more.

It wouldn't hurt to email them and just ask if they have any more. They were very quick to reply to my emails today.

Oh and I got the shipping notification about 2 hours after I paid for him.

:clap:blissy:yess:

He is everything I had hoped this figure would be and then some. :clap

Got to shoot a couple of shots freshly after opening mine.

Cool pics of this amazing figure! :clap

My pix are total crap but my hands are shot from getting the arrows in the quiver and then fiddling with that $(%!ing clip. But I did get it on there in the end. I've noticed in the poster and blu-ray disc packaging that he DOES indeed have the strap. If that clip ever detaches I'll just use the friggin' strap.
Better pix to come.

Thanks Viking Spawn. I never considered NOT getting this fella but I'm really kinda surprised at just how awesome it is to have it. I love the articulation, the different costume materials and overall tailoring. And I really do think it's a great likeness of the character. It's a winner all around! All the futzing with the quiver made me feel like I actually accomplished something today too, heh heh.

Your pics are great...I like this fig more everyday. :)

Man o Man...I was posting some pics a few pages back and talking about how much I love this figure...and I just keep finding things that put me in AWE!

- The glasses have a purple tint to them!!!
- The bow has so many intricate details and I love the clear red lens!
- The quiver as frustrating as it may have been to get situated is just amazing!!
- It looks like I've got a miniature person on my shelf getting ready to lay down some smack down!

The only thing I can even say that I didn't like about the figure was how much of a PAIN IN MY *** the clip was to affix to HE's back...and then I decided I liked the strap better! :gah: LOL...but I do enjoy futzing around with my figures so it's all good. :hi5:

Just opened the figure last night. WOW.

Amazing effort and detail by HT. I too used the strap because that little piece wasn't working for me. Maybe I'll try it again at another time. I had to put the shades on too as they make him look even more badass.

Putting the arrows in the quiver was a little daunting, but I was mentally ready for it after reading several of you guy's posts about it.

The bow is amazing and big. I like it.

Him and BW were the figures I thought I was the least excited about, so I guess I'll be blown away by the rest of the crew. Can't wait!

He does, but just not when he is fighting. He wears them during the epilogue scene where Loki is being transported back to Asgard, here is a behind the scenes shot of him with them on.

Yes, but those were just regular shades, not the cool looking glasses in all of the photos. AND, being a Photographer, it drives me wonky when you can plainly see a huge reflection of a softbox (light) in someone's sunglasses, which was the case when HE was talking to BW in this scene.
:thud:

Like this photo for example, where not only can you see the big, white reflector card being held beneath his chin to light up the bottom of his face....you can also see the person's hands holding the card. Not to mention the giant octagonal softbox camera right.

Drives me nuts!

Ah yes, I see that now. Thanks for that, I understand. Question though...if this is a professionally taken photo and has all the possible benefits of a little Photoshop 'touching-up', why are these still visible?

LOL, I guess that would be a question for the "professional photographer" who took the photos.

Maybe they should hire me next time. I'm just sayin. :wave
