Thanks guys! OMG's photos are what actually convinced me to buy Hawkeye in the first place. The production photos were nice, but his were just "WOW". So to already be mentioned along with him is a nice complement. I think what I really liked about his work was it reminded me of my own. I do a lot of studio portraits on a solid black backdrop, and I sometimes use acrylic mirrors as well.

My Wife and I have had a side photography business for nearly 10 years. Almost quit the day job a few years ago, but with cameras getting better and cheaper all the time, and everyone in their Brother calling themselves a "Professional Photographer" there just isn't enough $ in it any more to try to do it full time. So it remains a nice side income (to help pay for Hot Toys of course).

Photographing the Hot Toys figures has been fun....and now that I'm thinking about it, my two custom Deadpools who are staring at me right now are probably in need of their own little photo shoot....

Got Hawkeye in yesterday. Spent entirely too long setting him up and then one of the wrist pegs broke off inside one of the left hands. Had to order a new hand from Toy Anxiety. I was pretty annoyed.

Barring all of that, it's a sharp looking figure.

Sweet!
I love the bend on the limbs! Does that happen when you pull the string?

No it's already like that. It's a VERY cool bow, when you pull on the string the two pullies (I'm sure they're called something else, but I don't know) both rotate and when you let go of the string they rotate back and pull everything back into starting position.

The bad news is, it's a right handed bow. I'll post more photos later and you'll see that if you know what you are looking at and pay close attention to details, it's backwards to accommodate Hawkeye's left-handedness.

However, I'm not that nitpicky and LOVE how this bow looks so I may pose him with this one most of the time.

I also don't care for the coloring of the bow, I don't think it goes with Hawkeye that well, so I'll probably paint it black/silver. :)

he was a fun and at the same time frustrating figure to put together, getting is quiver on wasn't much fuss, but getting all 16 arrows in it straight was a pain, I kept thinking the whole time I was going to break one in half, but once he's done and you have everything on hime holding the bow he just looks fantastic

I did't order him but I did get all his arrows and glass. The bows I also pass on. Santa Yoda didn't think it was cool for him. So he went with the Zartan and Blade 3 Bow.

I struggled with the "movie accurate" quiver attachment for 10-15 minutes then gave up and used the one with the strap. They should have made the two "teeth" on the movie accurate attachment longer, but I couldn't even get them to go behind the belt at all...

I also struggled with the first arrow, but got the hang of it after that. Probably took me 20-25 minutes to get all of the arrows into it. You definitely want to start in the middle (hardest area to get to) and work toward the outside. And I couldn't have done it without using a small pair of needlenose pliers.

yea the clip they give you for the quiver is crap, I gave up on it after 5 minutes, plus I almost prefer the look of the strap for it instead
