I'm seriously thinking about ordering another one of these because I'm afraid I might cause some "battle-damage" to this one.

:D

I do wish HT would tweak the sculpt just a bit like they did Thor. It's good, but it could be alittle better.

They probably would if he was in higher demand. There was so much feedback over Thor by fans, I think HT had no choice but to give in. I think its still an excellent figure and will be getting one after I pay off a few others on my Avengers list.

the funny thing is, rarely do companies change sculpts because of "fan feedback" it's why you always see the "pending licensor approval" disclaimer. it's just a prototype. Those changes happen as the sculpt is perfected for production and it just looks like they listened to fans :lol

:goodpost: While I thank those who gave HT input, there were a lot of freaks on here patting themselves on the back without shame.

I cannot agree.

What company would put out, as the flagship image of their product, with the idea that this will encourage sales of said figure, a face sculpt that they were going to change anyway?

How does this make any sense? :dunno To build up expectation? Hardly, as expectation for good 1/6 scale AVENGERS figures was already sky high.

Whilst I am not an HT apologist - luckily mine was spared it but I could see that how they handled the DX02 problem and it was genuinely and shockingly bad - but it feels like when they do in fact do something that the fan base asks for, they still cannot seem to do right for doing wrong...??

It's better to show something rubbish and deliver something far better than to show something amazing and deliver something rubbish.

I'm not following you. Which side of the "protos change all the time vs. fans inspire HT to change HS" debate are you not agreeing with?
