Men are silly..... :lol "twinkling eyes"

Anyway, I had ordered him from the get go but that doesn't mean he can't use some tweaking. The sculpt is definately off some.

Men are silly, which is why I'm glad to be a lady. I'm never not amused. :lol

I also ordered him from the get-go and agree about the tweaking. I'll take him either way, but since we have to wait, why not improve? :wink1:

Now I need to work on the Hawk's Nest aka Awesome Display for Hawkie.

I'm not a woman.. but I like twinkling eyes. I know I'm silly. :lol

jenjen, that's a great idea, I'd love to see what kind of display you put together for Hawkeye. I'm still trying to decide how I want to display each of the Avengers, especially Hawkeye.

So, I was looking around for stuff for my Duke custom, and I came across this.. I thought it would interest you guys who want Hawkeye in his "Shield" outfit.

Toys City has this black GEN3 Combat uniform set coming out, and the pants are exactly what Hawkeye is wearing in his before he debuts his costume. All you would need is a black t-shirt and a proper vest (which should be that hard, at worst you'd have to sow the pockets on). Then a modern leg holster. The pants might need to be hemmed, but it's the same thing regardless. I might even bash a version together..

Damn you SF, that is so tempting to bash together

Thanks for the heads up!

:goodpost:

Now that's a great piece of detective work there SF! :clap I may just up my order to two of these HEs and go with that look also. Thank you.

No problem, thanks guys. :)

Now to just track down the right kind of vest. I want to assume the vest is another piece of US military gear, but who knows? Once the DVD comes out and we get some more screen caps we can track down more accurate pieces. At least we've got pants, that's a big deal right? :lol

Yeah.. it really is a tempting bash. I really like the GEN3 stuff anyway, so I'll probably end up putting something together using it.

the real problem is, this is a gateway into making those fake SHIELD agents to replicate that scene, which means you gotta buy/bash like 6 (?) more guys :rotfl

Don't try a day without them...never a good idea :horror

Damn, I wish someone had told me before now.. I didn't know I needed pants. :thud:

The only thing I worry about is having to take the pants in a bit, which would be work on one figure, let alone 6. Though I'm not sure how the fit really is, since I have no idea how Toy City bodies compare to Hot Toys. If they're anything like DiD then I imagine they are pretty thin, so it might not be a problem.

Hmm, I think the Shield Agents would be tough just because of their helmets/gear. I'm sure there is a passible solution though.
