lol when I got Ghost Rider, I was a F#@$kin ninja :lol "going for jog-NOT" *Don't say 'not' out loud next time*

Flag down UPS truck a block away. Go to backyard, open box, destroy shipper- DESTROY IT! NO EVIDENCE! :panic:

Wrap in strategically placed blanket- The Blankets too small FF%^$K! -F#@K she heard me! Run into alley:panic:

:rotfl
"run into alley" Very funnny.

I'm OK in this regard. My girl friend notices when new HT stuff appears on the shelf and just grumbles at me being a baby. Although the Ghost Rider - I think she likes that.

As for Hawkeye. Not sure yet wether to go down the Avengers route. I was going to, then there was an army of Bat figures :clap
I am pretty sure that I will pick up a second Avengers between August and December, but I prefer the Nick Fury to this one.

My wife is cool about it. She gets ss updates now since she bought me my first 1/6 scale figure. She has already gave the green light to them but she doesn't know I actually pulled the trigger yet. lol

My wallet wouldn't be hurting so much if I didn't have 5 other pf's on order arriving by December. And 3 of them in 1 month, along with Hawkeye. I'm so glad I was able to flex him. Since I'm on flex, I wont see a shipping notice. So keep me updated. :D

I feel your pain, Buffy! I have 15 things coming by the end of the year. :horror

You guys have got to get evasion down pat. Women know how to do this. Packages we don't want the sig. other to know about end up:

*Hurriedly stashed in car trunks

*Tossed behind the washer and dryer

*Stuffed underneath the kitchen sink, until we can move to a better hiding place

*Hidden in shrubbery in the front yard, ditto

*Stowed in the nearest closet, ditto...

....and other such diversionary tactics. See, if I can get a new doll or piece of jewelry through the door undetected, my husband won't notice for months - IF EVER. I encourage all people who like to preorder to follow suit. :panic: lol

My mother used to remove tags off of clothes and things before she brought things into the house. :lol

He isn't playing Bourne, but I know what you mean! I am totally excited for Bourne Legacy and also Hansel and Gretel!

No he is called Aaron Cross/Kenneth Gibson as far as I know, but let's face it, he is the 'Bourne' style character in it. The trailer looks very good indeed.

I like Renner, he's this sort of overlooked talent that has built up a steady and decent portfolio of work but had not really been HUGE - in the accepted Hollywood sense - and then he was in AVENGERS and MI:IV and everyone's suddenly going "Who is this Renner guy?"

Plus, if you see some of his behind-the-scenes stuff, he always seems to be having a real blast in his roles.

LOL! This sounds exactly like ME!!! :rotfl

I tend to hide the packages in the closet and open them when I'm all alone. Then I seek it into the collection later. When/if she notices it, I play dumb and act like its always been there. Doesn't always work. I gotten away with it with my Halo toys for years. However, HT stands out a lot more and will definitely be a challenge in slipping them under the wife's radar! :gah:

I like your ideas, especially meeting the UPS truck before it gets to your house. Why didn't I think of that?!!

DEFINITELY with the deboxing while alone. I don't want to hear a bunch of snarky comments while I'm deboxing something I've waited a long time for. I just don't want anyone in my space while I'm "getting to know" a new collectible.

I recently took delivery on a very high-end resin fashion doll, this line is actually from England. My bad luck, it showed up after my husband got home from work and before I woke up - I work night shift. I always hope to spirit this stuff away before he sees the shipper! [S.O., resigned tone]: "There's a box over there for you, all the way from England." I look over at the couch and there's a damn big ol' fat cat sitting on the shipper.

Doll was fine, despite cat! Deboxed the next day, she's on the shelf and the other half doesn't even know she exists. Or is purposefully forgetting, because he knows those dolls are not cheap.

Yeah, that's more than I have coming. I only have 9 by the end of the year (from SSC) and then a $1200 item from another place. If I pitch myself off my third story, would anyone really miss me...:lol

I too, have a couple of cats. Whenever they get too close to my collectibles, I use my spray bottle (of H20) on them. Works like a charm.

I used to raise Rag Dog cats (now pigs, fun and tasty). I breed my cats to come up with this cat I have (I have a picture of her doing this before the box was moved). I got in the super evil dude and his chair. PF. She never done this before but she really loves this box. I mean really love it. No other SS box, nor any other box. It has to be his chair. I joke around with my GF that she it tying to kill the old queen to take her place. Now, my GF is rethinking it.

Forgot to add this. She does not get into anything collectable at all. She will sit in front of it but never touch anything. Other then that she has the run of the house.

I am about to cancel about 5 (6 if you count Loki) from SS items. On the other hand I am going to pay for everything that has a payment on it. Odd yes, so there will be a Hawkeye up if anyone has it on a wait list.

I'm not sure if you guy's are joking or not. If your joking from my stand point I find it somewhat I guess ok. If not? Really if you look at any of my post about this. I really did have a ex wife that would not let me spend my own money. She did what you guys are say (only not joking). She's gone.... I do have a GF now that likes what I like. She also collects SS/HT items. So we don't have to hide anything. Nor will I ever again,

Even went to the 12:01 showing of Batman last night. $40 (Dbox) tickets, no _____ing from her (I did pay for the tickets), ex would have _____ed.

Side note I would love to get my hands on a Hero bow from this movie. Any of the bow"s. If your on the wait list, a HW will be going up today or Monday. Canceling everything from SS that does not have money on it. Loki will be hard.

I don't have that problem. My cat just sits in front of everything. Should have seen when I moved my TV up high. All she did all day long was look up at is, tying to think how to sit sit in front of it.
