Not all are going to be like that. Cap is still available all over. Hawkeye just has Wolverine and Blade syndrome

I predict this same scenario will happen to the Storm Shadow figure.They will limit production and when its released, it will be a phenomenal looking figure, regardless of source material. But by then it will be gone.

Recently set up a new display area, so thought posting my hawkeye again.

Also to share some mods that I done. Do not do this if you are not confident to do.
1. the collar was cut shorter.
2. the 2 black buckles at the waist was shifted closer.
3. the sliver buckle on the left thigh is placed in wrong direction. I restitched the inner side at the pant & turned the buckle over.
4. arrow quiver firmly secured with a black sting around the body.

Can you see the string?

I have seen Hawkeye at my local comic store recently...he can't be that rare...they don't seem to sell a lot of 1/6 figs...they have Capt as well...of course they also had a Shocktrooper in stock until a few weeks ago...

Finally ahve this figure on the way, fortunately I got it at a reasonable price, not of the ridiculous jokers on ebay

What really frustrates me about the sellers of this figure on eBay is the complete lack of justification for the price increase

I understand that collectibles generally increase with value over time for various different reasons, the original Mark 1 was out of stock for a long time and so it's price increase with it's continuing scarcity (sp?) made sense

But this has pretty much only just come out and it's clear that the increase is only to rip off collectors, for lack of a better term. And that's really all it is, a rip off.

If it were 3 years down the line and there were only a few left, that would be acceptable, but this is like going into Burger King and paying double for a whopper because it's the last one on the shelf

Clipperking will understand!

I'm just venting here, but it really frustrates how situations are exploited.

nice mod there iceberg, great idea on using the string though..that quiver is very hard to put on without using the straps
