Thanks for the quick reply! That's great to hear :D. And she is my favorite collectable that I have. I too think the head sculpt is fantastic, and she was the first figure I ever ordered and started me down this dark, dark path of collecting.

So if I keep her like this then, I shouldn't be worried about wear/damage to her elbow? (I tried to attach the image to the first post but apparently failed).

So, because I'm super paranoid I did straighten the arm out and went for a more museum pose. I did notice some (what I think) is creasing, I took a photo of it... is there anything here i should be concerned about, or is that just creasing and I'm wigging out over nothing.

More regular lighting for comparison:

I am never going to touch her again I don't think (and I'll go away after this, I promise .-. )

My current BW is the Civil War version, but I had this one for a while. The suit creased and stayed creased, but never split or broke up in any way.

Ah, thanks everyone for the replies. My Iron Man 2 Widow (which I bought 'new' and clearly wasn't) is ripping by her elbows, so I was a bit paranoid that something similar might happen to this one.

I'm just going to leave her as is. While I don't like the new pose I set for her nearly as much, at least it should (hopefully) stand the test of time... plus I am clumsy and the more I tinker with it the more likely I am to break something -_-

I liked this suit so much that I took it off and put it on the larger, healthier, Iron Man 2 Black Widow and it fit snug in all the right places. This Avengers BW, to me, has the best face-sculpt so I have popped the head off and put it on the Civil War or Winter Soldier bodies as they use regular material instead of pleather. I also find these other suits to be more flexible but that's just me.

Hi, is this still the best BW figure post Infinity War (2018)? Or is the CW one better?

I really like both, but got rid of A1 when I got CW, mainly because the A1 sculpt and paint-work seems a little simplistic in comparison.

If they were to redo an A1 I’d probably bite.

I wonder how long this figure's suit will last. were going on 7 years since its release.

I saw some looking like new, and at least one that developed some fine surface wrinkles all over, as if there were 2 layers coming apart, but no tears or flaking.

If you can only have one, Civil War. This one is a bit dated. I think the Civil War suit will hold up better over the long haul. Though you may just want to see if you want to get the Endgame figure, though that'll most likely have a ponytail. But at least it'll be (probably - honestly, it better be) sculpted.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I should mention I found a MISB A1 for $155 and the CW one going for $345. Hence the dilemma as I’m not intending to spend much on her. I’m almost strictly collecting IM only. With intend to buy other characters at a steal, such as this A1 piece at $155.

At that point, I guess you might as well get the Avengers version and then buy a knock off CW sculpt on eBay for around $30. Boom, best of both worlds.

Finally got around to modding my A1 Black Widow with a curvier body, which is something I've been wanting to try for awhile. I used magic sculpt to thicken the upper legs and inserted a bunch of padding underneath the rubber torso to widen the hips and waist and make the ****s and butt a little bigger. Since the body was just looking way too thin and lanky before. And I also switched out with an old AOU sculpt that I repainted the eyes on. I'd prefer to use a CW head but this is all I had available at the moment.

I'd love to do the same mod to my other BWs, but unfortunately their outfits seem a lot more restrictive and don't have the same kind of give as this one.
