Really? How can anyone not see Scarlett in this sculpt? I don't think it's a perfect likeness, but it's not Dicaprio/Karl Urban Thor. Not even close.

My are the opinions already starting on this...like the HT Indy Jones battle on Ford's likeness........

Not surprised at all by the price, will pick her up once she releases. No need to preorder any HT figs anymore. :lol

yeah with the base figures now being $189, and anything with even the smallest extra being $199 and up these will not be sold out quickly.

I can't even remember what the last figure to sell out quick was, maybe spiderman? but everyone knew more variants would be coming.

I am waiting on all figures now, even if they don't go down in price because of supply they won't be skyrocketing like they did in the past.

Also remember that the more of us that pre-order the more that will be made in general! All these companies take their pre-orders and add a certain percent to them (say 20%) and thats their final order. So if 1000 pre-orders come in they will tell Hot Toys 1,200, if only 500 pre-order it they might say 600... Once the deadline for pre-orders hits, thats all Hot Toys will make (at least until 2 years later they re-release it :rotfl)

even if its a must have for me, I wait until the "pre-order guarantee" deadline passes, then I order one, makes me feel better that I am not increasing the production run with my order, but rather taking 1 from the "stock order" of a distributer.

And ordered!

There won´t be any discussion, really.

The figure is perfect. One of the most perfect portraits I´d ever see in 1/6.

You´ll have the same attention whore of always trying to... Well, drive some attention, by saying the head has problems, I don´t see Scarllet in this, she is to thin, don´t worth the price and all the same bulls h it of ANY new figure....

But is just that, needing people asking for some attention...

Let´s give it to them!

I think the likeness is pretty damn good! first impression before going onto this forum was "wow thats improved over the one I have", but I was really dissapointed that the hair was not sculpted, especially since its short hair. I really try to think of my toys as action figures and not dolls, but if I have to comb the hair, it is a doll... Makes you wonder if they tried sculpted hair and it just didn't look right or something? Maybe they should have done real hair with Thor :lol

Sculpt is perfect, hair will come total ____ after being packaged and taped and transported.

HT said this would have sculpted hair, I was excited, now that it doesn't it's an easy pass.

Well, I think some of those complaints are acceptable and make total sense depending on the figure. With those prices, we have a right to complain about the little things that make these figures less than perfect. However, I think it's stupid to say this doesn't look like Scarlett Johansson. Just plain stupid. No offense.

Agreed. This looks just like her.

I'm surprised people aren't freaked by her upper torso... too thin... and those shoulders! The previous BW actually looked more natural (shoulders).

People are actually complaining about that. Personally, it is my biggest concern with this figure. That and the hair, which looks good in the pictures, but rooted hair always turns out messy in the final products.

I am quite disappointed actually. The body is very inaccurate. They take a starlet that is not a ridiculous waif for once and do this to her?

And for those claiming the head sculpt is such perfection, I just showed it to someone out of the Black Widow context. Their guess: younger Nicole Kidman. That was my own thought. Oh well, always wanted a Moulin Rouge custom. Now it may be they just have facial similarities, so this is at best strong, not perfection.

I do like the hair. Tonner can manage to keep elabourate coifs in place for years. I think HT can manage.
