Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

What's wrong with that pic, neo? I think it looks pretty good, and I'm still contemplating on which look should go on my display - coat on, speech look or that, with the vest on when he's about to break Bat's back.

Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

My parents being 40/50 years old explains everything.

Not to be harsh but the only possibilities here are:

A: you're referring to the fact my parent's are that age, hence I must be too young to understand ****.

or B: You're referring to me stating my parent's know who Hardy's Bane is, which would explain.. really nothing.

So please enlighten me what my parent's being 40/50 years old have to do with "explaining everything" besides those points? Because there's little room for interpretation in the sentence you placed.

Also, on a side-note: "this is explains everything." is weird grammar. :lol

given the strange grammar, you decided it meant something horrible and pounced on it without even stopping to wonder if there could be some language problem or the phrase was incorrect or incomplete. i can't stop you from jumping to conclusions or assuming the worst and no amount of explaining will suffice.

so i'm going to resume talking about hot toys bane now, because i registered here to talk about toys. thanks for reminding me of that.

He's referring to the pants. They are maniped to look baggier in the second pic.

I think it's about the wrist guard not having a hole for the thumb in the fist.

That sounds so wrong.

Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

If it was a no brainer, don't you think the #1 company the make 1/6 figures in the world would have made this a DX? Especially since its the popular opinion that HT milks Iron Man and Batman for as much profit as possible?

They could down the road. By no brainer I mean that it would benefit with PERS (figures have looked good with it) and you could have multiple outfits and accessories to go with it. That's all I am saying, will they? Who knows. Could they? For sure they could and it would sell and be bought by people who are ripping the idea in the present.:lol

I have fixed the traps and pants on the second one :)

Fair enough. Though your quote still doesn't make sense.

Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

Yep, baggy pants look a lot better. Wonder if you can stretch them out?

Traps don't bother me so much, vest kind of helps it.

Doubt it. The eBay parts listings show them very fitted. Can probably untuck them a little more than that first pic, but not by much.

Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

Does the wrist brace seem a bit big?

Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

What exactly is wrong with the outfit? Only thing that buggs me is the nose. :lol

The nose is weird too. But you only really notice it from profile.

I didn't know the vest colors were off but they do seem... vivid. Needs some heavy dirtifying.

The tight pants bother me. I like the baggy, combat look... not slim-fit pencil jeans with knee-pads. Tight pants with knee-pads connotes the wrong proclivities.

Re: Hot Toys – MMS183 - The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Collectible Figure

Well those certainly aren't slim-fit pencil jeans. Just looks "normal fit" to me (slightly baggy). Anyways, yeah it's not as baggy as the actual costume.

They're not nearly as tight as Sideshow's and Medi's Boba fett pants.
