Here's a little something I worked on today.

My HT Robo is on the way and I grabbed an extra chest plate off ebay to do some tests.


I tried and stay true to the Robocop 1 color scheme but he might be somewhere between 1 and 2. Anyway I like the result

Nice, looks great, DS. Really like that purple hue coming through. Also, think it captures the original quite nicely. RoboCop 2 looks overdone to me and I'm not seeing that in this sample.

yeah actually I think you're right. Just watched a few scenes from Robo 2 and he really is quite blue in it


glad you like it, hopefully I get my figure soon and can give it a full repaint. It's the Robo I've been wanting ever since I was a kid ^^

nicely done!!! i talked about doing this a month ago, but the POS that i bought the plate from on ebay scammed me!!! still trying to get my $ back.

i figured it would come out looking as good as your pics do!

aw man sorry to hear about that. Fingers crossed ebay or paypal can sort that out for you.


I used tamiya clear blue with just a tiny tiny drop of black so he's not too bright a blue.
