Any love for the Robocop 2 colors?

That looks great, can't wait to see the rest of it

I'm hoping Hot Toys are going to milk the tooling for a Robocop 2 version. I love that strong blue-purple finish. I think including swappable helmeted and unhelmeted heads and necks would be essential because his face was visible more throughout the second movie, can't think of much else in the way of accessories though - unless they wanted to give him a motorcycle



I really like Robocop 2, it's not the perfect movie the first was but it's still well-made by a very underrated director, has more amazing work from Bottin and Tippet and has a fairly high number of '**** yeah!' moments like Robocop jumping on a Harley-Davidson Softail.

I also wouldn't mind Hot Toys doing this as a thing similar to their forthcoming partial Iron Man Mk III suit.



Oh, and a Robocain.

Tbh I've always like the first film a looot better. Robo 2 was a lot of fun don't get me wrong, but 1987 was a masterpiece imo.

So when I bought my HT and knew I was gonna repaint it I was pretty sure I'd go for the Robo 1 color scheme.


But now that I've tried the Robo2 colors.... I think it's a much more appealing look tbh. Especially for a figure.


Luckily I've been given the task to paint several, so I will definitely do a Robocop 1 full repaint as well.

Looks great. I do like Robocop 2 the movie obviously not as much as the first but its a good sci fi flick by its own merits especially the fight sequences between cain and robo. Heres hoping we see ht do a Robocop 2 version and cain also in the future.

I just realized that the upper torso ball joint needed to be "popped" open to get the full rage of movement like the iron man figures

Robo 2 would be one hell of a con exclusive. Doubt we'd get the unmasked head though, just a repaint without the BD parts for $350. Thinking evil Supes type of release, aka half ***.

They would have too retool the battle damage parts for Robo 2 but I hope they don't make it a con exclusive, that only would make getting even more expensive that it should be even at retail from sideshow, I look at Bank robber Joker 2.0

Got mine today. Didn't get much time to play around with it. Only thing that bugs me is the headsculpt is really loose and the neck ball joint pops out whenever I move the head. Anyone else have this issue?

I believe another member had that issue but it shouldn't be there. The head should have silky smooth movement and the joints should be nice and tight. Solid figure should feel solid.

Thanks for your input. I knew something seemed wrong from the beginning. I sent a video and photos to DEATHASYLUM and he confirmed mine is defective. Will be emailing BBTS for a replacement.

I agree man. The figure is fine outside of the loose head, but I can't have a figure where every time I touch it, the head pops off.
