One of the many reasons why I'm buying less HT figures than I used to. Sucks it had to happen to one of my PO'd and favorite character. Damn you Hot Toys!

after seeing some post about the new dome i decided to check mine, never been in the sun, and after i received it never even play with it, it was only sitting on the shelf, no one touch or try to clean it, well... look at this, i cant see it from a distance so this is why i didn't see it till now

what can i say, 400$ on this crap! after only less than 2 months!

I don't know what consumer protection laws are like over there, but I'd be surprised if you weren't entitled to a full refund because the product is defective.

I'm leaning toward shipping mine back. It kills me because I love this guy. He's so much better than the original except one glaring mistake. I just can't justify $400+ for something that's going to fall apart in a matter of months.

Same here. Which is a shame because I wanted this to be displayed next to Robo when he releases. Hope someone is able to produce replacement domes.

Mine is starting to crack aswell
Any chance someone will be offering custom Dome replacments?
Or is there a way to stop it from further cracking? coating it with something?

if you can upload photos it will be great, we need to upload as many photos as possible and maybe than HT will do something about this crappy dome (although I doubt it will happen) they probably busy doing the 999 iron man figure

This really is unbelievable. That they would make the same mistake twice is beyond comprehension. I think the big distributors as well as all the collectors should go class action lawsuit on these arrogant douches. They need to get a reality check. Even though they are the only game in town, they need to have respect for those of us that continue to support them through product purchasing. That they seemingly don't give a **** about their customers really sucks.

well this is definitely getting me really nervous. mine hasn't shown any cracks yet, but now i'm worried with all these reported issues, it may soon. i really really don't want to have to return this, so just crossing my fingers and praying to the collectibles god that mine won't suffer that fate.

Leenart, mine isn't cracking but I can tell there is some separating of the rubber and the plastic of the dome shell
On the front of my ed, where yours is cracking, I gently pushed down to feel that there is separation
Can u gently push down to see if you feel the air gap there? I'm wondering if the rubber isn't separating and then cracking due to lack of stability/form?

If I press on the front, I do feel it is less solid than the rest of the dome, like there is indeed a gap/hollow there.
