That barely looks like Chris Pratt imo. Hope they fix it.
Have there been any whispers about a potential Ronan and/or Nebula figure? They both have such amazing designs.
Can't wait to display this with the HT Han Solo
I think it looks really good. I'm sure there are a few things that could be improved upon, but I dig it; I love the smirk. I'm of the opinion that the pursuit of accuracy in this hobby has become a bit of a double edged sword, I think the realism has a lot to do with it, but, at the same time, I think people should remember that these are figures. You can capture the essence of a character without taking the actor to Wonka's factory and shrinking him down Mike Teevee style. Between the outfit, the attitude, and the likeness. You know that's Star Lord. Same deal goes for Solo in the Star Wars thread. It's absolutely okay to want the figure to be the best it can be, but don't forget to enjoy it, as well. The Solo thread seems to be a dark place, where complaints about the likeness looking more like anybody other than Harrison Ford have replaced the "holy crap! HT Star Wars!" sense of wonder.
I look at the Armory thread in the DC section, and a ton of people are super happy with that Batman figure. Personally, I don't think the Bale likeness on the neutral faceplate is that great, but the fact that it looks like Batman, and not some derpy eyed lunatic with a pervy smile, is enough for a lot of people, and they're genuinely happy with it, and I think people could learn something from that. The pursuit of perfection has taken a lot of the joy out of this hobby. I'm no hypocrite and I'll admit that there have been instances where I've been just as **** retentive, if not moreso, than the next guy, and that's okay, but, I'll reiterate, remember that this is supposed to be fun. Apologies for the rant, but I needed to write it somewhere.
Hey that kinda looks like him! Ok Hot Toys, throw in the short jacket and you've got yourself a deal.
