Just an anecdote I guess, but I was contacted by SS because I was WL for the EX and they said it was "sold out" and they were going to cancel my WL completely. As recompense, they offered me a regular at discount w/free shipping so I agreed. For whatever reason, my WL stayed active and it ended up getting put into process for conversion today. I tried contacting SS again to see what to do, but I figured they'd just tell me to cancel one of the two, so I just canceled the EX on my own. I guess I'd rather have the cheaper one since I'm planning to display it....

Wow. Can't believe you canceled the Ex.
This Ex version had a pretty short run compared to most other Sideshow Hot Toys Ex's.
You could have sold the Ex for a nice profit and that extra cash could have been put towards the Regular.

I hope Sideshow's bluffing with all of the WL cancellations.

My Mark III Ex. was also canceled, but it still shows as Reservation Submitted in my Order History. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'm hoping it's a bluff.

I think you're right, I got the same email but as you say, the figure still has the reservation submitted message rather than the cancelled/out of stock message.

I think they are just trying to boost sales of the standard version.

Nah, I don't really care about that stuff too much. If I happen to have a collectible that becomes "valuable" on the aftermarket, that's just icing on the cake. I don't buy and save these things for the profit. In fact, I've cut back a lot since I first started the hobby. I'm only getting stuff that I really want and will actually open and display and have fun with now. Part of it too is that I live in Hawaii and selling stuff is a real PITA because of shipping.

Gunm.... You're from Hawaii too? Sweet

I understand the shipping thing, I'm thinking of selling some stuff but scared it'll be like $50 shipping or something nuts like that.

Plastic enemies just posted this as a teaser for their next release...could it possibly be? I dunno when Starboost is supposed to come out though.

Igor looks sick! So does Quill...although I'm not too crazy about the box or length of coat...who cares tho..lol

So so so so so so pumped for this figure! Instantly pre-ordered the exclusive, loved the movie, loved the character, and now... love that its coming out so soon!

Well damn, my first payment is supposed to come out on the 15th. I'll be telling them to charge the rest next month if he's coming this soon! Pumped.
