So realistically speaking when should we start receiving hours if we ordered through SSC?

Also when will the bloggers have these in hand for some reviews?

Hot Toys – MMS255 – Guardians of the Galaxy: 1/6th scale Star-Lord Collectibl...

Part of me kinda wishes that they made the box art literally more like a box you'd see Hot Toys make if they existed in the 70 or the 80's to add to the motif of retro music from the film and where Peter was from. Like what Toy Story did with their re releases when the third film came out. It was cool, it was like, this is what the boxes could have looked like when they came out in the time they did.

I'm sure this has been mentioned a million times, but why no short coat as well? Doesn't this coat ( in the movie ) kind of unsnap to become the short coat? that would have been awesome.
Not sure we can count on another release just for the other coat. bummer. but some customizer out there is going to make a killing.

Well SSC says Jan. So we might MIGHT... see him by the end of Dec from bloggers and feb/early March from Sideshow.

Unless we see him next week from bloggers.

When is the Chinese new year? That may mess these releases a bit.

Very nice looking figure. Glad they've gave the face an expression.
I want this but I feel it wouldn't be right to get him alone. But I have no interest in buying the rest of the crew.

Decisions decisions..

Guh... going to have to wait for Galaxy 2. Missed EX pre-order and my OCD won't be able to take not having the EX version of my figures.

Weathering on his coat looks great.

Have you seen close ups of his blasters? I think some were taken at the Singapore Toy Fair. The weathering looks phenomenal. I'll see if I can dig them up from a previous post.

EDIT: can't find them anywhere but when I saw them I was quite impressed at the level of detail
