It's a long, fortuitous story, but I got to meet MJF on the street outside of his building in NYC. I was there on vacation during the NYC marathon, and he was outside cheering on 'Team Fox' runners. Unfortunately I didn't have anything for him to sign, but I did get a couple pics. Needless to say, highlight of my trip.

That's pretty awesome man. Im glad you got a chance to talk with him for a minute and take a picture. So jealous!

A few years back I had a chance to meet him myself when he came to my college to promote his new book. Unfortunatly I had to work that night and "once in a lifetime chance to hear one of my personal heroes speak" was not a good enough reason for my boss to give me the night off. Haha

I thought to myself, if there's one celebrity that would be out here supporting their cause, cheering on these runners in 30 degree weather, it would be ****ing MJF. So I started scanning.

It took me a second, though. Here's the "creeper" pic I took before I knew he would cross the tape and give me chance to ambush him.

I feel for you guys waiting for Marty. I couldn't resist ordering one from Hong Kong just to avoid the agony of waiting for Sideshow. I never want to pay extra to get a figure early, but with Marty it's another story.

Yup. Just came to post the same thing, and it's actually fine by me. I had a huge haul this month and that gives me plenty of time to enjoy everything I just received.

It's a blessing and a curse. If it were coming next month I'd have to do some creative accounting because I've used the delayed funds here and there. Now it's assured that I can keep him but I have to wait longer.

I caved and ordered from Hong Kong last night after drinking a bottle of duval. It already shipped out and should be here late next week or early the following week hopefully according to the estimated delivery.
