New WM?!!!... epic win! :yess::panic: :rock
Maybe. I'm not entirely sure but comparing it to the original WM or the 2.0, the forearm looks different.

oh yeah if Rhodey dies in that scene in AOU(possible) WM might end up being the movie promo
They won't kill him. How else could they cash-in on his prospective spinoff movie then?? :wink1:

Not sure if anyone already did this.

They look great all lined up together, nicely done. I suppose the grey colouring is because it's meant to be a War Machine prototype BUT I definitely think this suit would've been far more impressive if they'd gone for more red, ditch the grey altogether (just my thinking though). :)

There was something about WMII almost being in the Avengers also. Stark was asking him for help but WM was to far away, then in IM3 you were supposed to see it before it was repainted to the IP colors. I hope IP goes back to WM in Avengers 2 if he suits up.

They should've definitely had him in the movie as War Machine, it could've been done easily enough with one scene I'm sure..., I like both designs but the War Machine look is the better of the two (for me anyway). :)

I think a 'spoiler alert' would have been appropriate...

how is that a spoiler...

He hasnt seen the movie, in fact no one has. and its been speculated for months that Rhodey dies as we only seem to see him at the start and no where else in the film. Plus two IM's in that movie is gunna be a bit much with all the other character introductions

I think since Hot Rod is made by Tony(for Rhodey) and Iron Patriot is just an AIM paintjob of WM 1.0..... Hot Rod would be the more advanced suit

obviously not, doesnt even have the shoulder cannon

plus WM 2.0 would come after hot rod

The shoulder canon is an inferior thing though, they just made it look more high tech as the mark I had a midi gun/Gatling gun which is very old school for a futuristic suit of armour. Tony Stark doesn't use one, that's even more evident as he didn't put it on Hot Rod..., the military are supposedly meant to like the big gun thing though. :)

yeah but WM 2.0 isnt a real upgrade, all they did was stick the shoulder cannon on and paint it..... and I'm pretty sure they could only do 1% of what Tony Stark could do

I bet Tony does the MK3 armor seen in AOU.... I hope so anyway

On a side note I see Hot Toys are once again testing the limits IM collectors will go to in terms of price. $294.99 OUCH!!! I guess it is Diecast but I suspect they will creep up the prices of all future armors to this price level, diecast or not

The mark III diecast is already past it though & went up for preorder before this one..., it's on Sideshow's website for $309.99. :(

I dont care how effective it may or may not be, it did nothing in the movie (the comic showed it as being pretty cool), but having the shoulder cannon is just factually an upgrade over hot rod without one (rest is the same), which is what I stated

Mk 3 comes with more and is a new mold

I've preordered it & can't wait to get it..., I was just pointing out that the statement about figures going up & above the $294.99 that Hot Rod is, has already happened & therefore we can be thankful (I think) that this figure didn't creep into the $300.00 mark. :)

Going past on this one. Got to save up for the Hulk-Buster armor. Oh you know it coming!!!!

Iron patriot and mk 42 were higher more than a year ago too
