plus what is up w/ the back area and the cop out... taking the mold from the wm/ip and not changing the connection area for the shoulder cannon? leaving them open? it looks like its incomplete?

It is what it is. A quick repaint for a quick buck.

They look great all lined up together, nicely done. I suppose the grey colouring is because it's meant to be a War Machine prototype BUT I definitely think this suit would've been far more impressive if they'd gone for more red, ditch the grey altogether (just my thinking though).

It's supposed to be the prototype/base model of WM2.0/IP.

Oh yeah, I saw that..., thought it was interesting to see it's grey again, guessing the War Machine name does send the right kind of message after all if they've ditched the Iron Patriot now.

Not really, I ordered it the day it went up (August 26th) and I got it a couple weeks ago.
