Are the lights on anyone else's war machine really really dim? Haven't really used them, just pulled the tab and the light is pretty hard to see.
So I got my brother a WM through the mistress giveaway on SS's site. Anyway, I go to his house to check it out today and as I'm posing it this little part falls off, then the entire shoulder armor falls off.
So now I have to fix this thing. I bring it home, arms pop right off and are just on a ball joint. This really helped me because the part that fell off was the part that held the shoulder in place, which happens to be spring loaded. Anyway, I was able to have just enough room to re-glue the part in place and get the shoulder back on.
Anyway, that's how I almost ruined the really cool gift I won for my brother.
I charge tips in the form of cookies, jello's, donuts....

Took a few more pics.
Decal Test:
After designing my own decals, I am now trying to color match the decals to WM. As well as making sure they are the right size. I used plain white paper and double sided sticky tape to attach it to WM for test purposes. When I get a close match I will use decal paper. Not all decals have been put on yet. Still in the process.
Anthrapoid. He removed the thread because it had degenerated into name-calling

are you selling decals???
What a POS... Now the Ex-Wife launcher broke... Really, this thing looks great but is about as fragile as can be.
I am sorry to hear about all the troubles you are having with this fig. You must of gotten a bad one. That sucks and it is very frustrating on top of that.
Funny thing is it's not even mine. I got it for my brother through the Mistress giveaway and though my brother has had it for a few days I've managed to break it yesterday at his house, take it home to repair, fix it then break it again.
Hmmm... thanks for the tip, but I tried that [rejiggling the batteries] and it didn't help. Just to reiterate, the light is VERY bright when I switch it on, the strange things is that it emits a very faint glow when it's OFF. I tried to see if the switch was somehow too far over, but that didn't help. When I took the batteries out it did shut off... but as soon as I popped it back in there it was.

Reposting in the hope someone might be able to answer. Maybe this is just somehow normal?
