Thanks to Jed I added War machine to my HT IM line today

I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the figure, even though mine arrived with a broken piece

The right shoulder 'Ex Wife' was snapped off at the base, but I can just place it on the figure and you wouldn't know it's broken

I'm considering putting some glue on it then snapping it back into the shoulder compartment, but I fear that I'll never be able to pop it open again

Here he is in the lineup:

The mirror for this display was supposed to be ready today

It looks crappy b/c my camera stinks and the mirror I ordered for the back of the display isn't ready yet

It will be nice to when the Mark V & Mark II AUV release and I can add them to the lineup

I think today I'll be swapping out the Mark VI molded base for the HT base, I just don't like it for some reason

Definitely! it will add a variety of color once those 2 will join them & don't forget Mark I too if you can get one.

For me, I think that special base looks great esp. if HT manage to have it enlarge so that WM can also be place there. Anyway, it's your call. Cheers!

Agreed about the variety the new IM's will bring to the line

I was close to pulling the trigger on a Mark I & a mark II, eventually they will be mine...but not yet!

I thought War machine might come with a similar or matching base as the Mark VI. That way the pair could be displayed nicely and look like they were in a similar scene.

That would look cool.
A fellow boardie here was speculating a War Machine BD (if made) could come with a similar base to the Mk.VI. I think that would work well so that it can be posed with the Mk.VI

Pretty good idea. Maybe combine 2 mark VI's bases and go from there? Idk, I can't do custom work have to ask one of the pro's

You might be right, though if they release a BD War machine w/ a base like that I will not buy a second figure. It took a lot of convincing for me to get this War Machine, and though I'm happy with him I'd rather spend the money on other figures

I'd have no problem buying a base from a parted out BD though I've considered buying a 2nd Mark VI base but it isn't worth the $60 that they're going for atm imo.

I passed the first time around but the store got some more stock in so I decided to pull the trigger.

I am pissed I ordered War Machine from a guy in Sydney, Aus and the berserker predator from BBTS, I live in Hobart, Aus and my Pred is here awaiting to be picked up but the guy in Sydney still hasn't even sent it yet!

Yeah, I also won't get a variant WM as speculated by many..maybe I'll just buy a loose base if ever.
