Check a few pages back, there´s a big picture someone got from the taiwanese official HT dealer which says that War Machine will be out 30th October and Mark IV 30th November.

That's not bad, I can live with that! I guess should put my order for WM now then. After that I'll have to decide between Mark IV or VI (or a statue). Decisions, decisions!

Does anyone know, once these figures start shipping, what the actual expected time frame for receiving them is?

Like, once H.T. start shipping them, how long can I expect before B.B.T.S. ships it to me etc? Sorry for all the questions, I've just never done this before. My girlfriend is concerned because it was actually meant to be an anniversary gift in June, but now it's dragged on. They don't charge until they ship, but naturally we all want our War Machines.

BBTS and stuff´s a bit longer, but if you buys from guys like loontentoys, or goodshipped where I´m always will head to, I think...then your at it with max. 1 month after release.
Where as with the american dealer, you´re there with about 2.

Yeah...I think that should be right.

Or what do you guys say, buyin´from US dealers like Toys 2, BBTS and Sideshow directly?

Watched the movie twice this weekend — first time I've seen it since the theater —_and have a new interest in this figure, but not with the currently-shown headsculpt. Are we to believe they got approval on a new sculpt, based on the comment a page or two back that Hot Toys just got license approval for the War Machine and Tony Stark Mark IV headsculpts? That'd be really great!

I still dont think pictures truly capture how great this figure is. He is massive and huge, in person. I remember seeing him at SDCC and I was amazed at the detail.

Figure is gonna be great I'm telling ya. Truly a great design and HT did a great job of pulling it off in 1:6th scale.

With BBTS it's going to be your Xmas gift
HK Toy hunter is the first wave for HK PO. Then the second wave goes to the HK eBayers PO, few Asian retailers and Toys2 which is usually a month later. Another month you may see it with SS followed by all other NA retailers. Of cause you will see some of the HK PO selling on eBay for crazy money.

I can't wait to see what the Mk IV looks like in hand. In all of the pics I've seen so far the crotch area looks discolored and/or the body proportions seem wrong.

I would much prefer the Mk IV and it's release date though,as opposed to the Mk VI, if these turn out to be non-issues.

The best I have seen of this figure so far. Looks like the 1:1 suit.

Crap ..i have no money ready for this and currently no way of paying online ..must sort this problem out asap or something from my collection may have to go ..as i imagine this fig will become a rare one ..and i really can't see a battle damage being much better then this ..what would it have other then the damage and matching base to go with VI?

BBTS is fine and reliable just not the fastest. Cancel only if you find a better deal or a faster shipping store with comparable prices.

I suggest you just preorder from a US online retailer if you are in the US. No point in buying from HK ebayers and pay a hefty markup after shipping. Unless you like to have it a month before everyone in the states gets theirs.

I figure I'll just wait. Nobody has theirs yet, so unless a month or two goes by and everyone has theirs but me, I don't see reason to worry.

Trouble is, it's not my money to spend.

B.B.T.S. charged (Well, not yet, they charge when they ship) my girlfriend $175. I'd be paying £135 from Loontentoys, that's $213. Bit of a predicament really.
