Leg articulation

Seriously, what's the deal with the leg articulation? Does it suck something awful? Because every in-hand photo is either straight-legged or from the waste up. I'm ready to bite the bullet and pre-order this guy, but not if he can't stand any way but straight.

That work for ya?
I'm sure his legs can pull off plenty of poses, but with War Machine, most people don't need to do anything too crazy. That's what Iron Man does. War Machine just stands there and shoots. And looks badass while doing it.

Thats what I'm after, yep. But I want to see that pose achieved with an actual in-hand figure. I no longer trust Hot Toys to not advertise articulation thats not realistlcally achievable with the final product.

You can really play it like a toy cos is really well build, solid and heavy. The best 1/6 IM figure for sure.

Stunning. The figure really is stunning. So much detail.

hmm, i have not heard anything from goodshipped since the release yet he has been posting new items of the warmachine in stock now...
i pre-ordered in june and i am now worried that something is wrong or i am getting ripped off.
has anyone else ordered this from him and heard anything?

if he does not have stock in then why does his listings say now in stock
if he has some in stock he should be sending the pre-orderd ones first.

You are new to the game of ordering/PO from ebay sellers in HK I assume? ;)
When you PO you do NOT get from the first shipment. The first shipment is always for selling on eBay at jacked up prices and hence reason some of the more eager ppl here only buy on eBay the moment it comes out w/o PO. If you POed you will get yours fast too but from the second HK wave which is likely 2-3 weeks after initial release. I never checked out any of those posts but they may or may not clarify these details in their auction but from what I have been reading here as it has been in discussion many times

I know this is off topic but I'm a little confused :( I usually order from the bay but I've only PO'ed once, it didnt cost me extra, actually cost me less as the price went up before shipment. Also I received my fig approx 2-3 weeks after the first in-hand pics showed up online. Thats pretty good cos postage to europe takes a while. Any prices I've checked on Ebay seem reasonable for the most part, and I've never seen a drop after initial Po's go out. Obviously there are exceptions, I'm not sure but I think Goodshipped are quite expensive...maybe abcexpress? Cant remember exactly. Anyways point being even though I've only done it once i dont see the issue with Po's on ebay, can anyone clarify cos I've seen a few people who seem to think it should be punishable by death :lol

? nono nothing bad about POs especially since prices are better... just it seems X was under the impression he should get his POed WM right this instance during the initial release which is not the case

I get you but isnt that more of a seller issue than Ebay itself?

Also I was specifically asking about this part of your post as I havent expierienced this or heard of it happening:

I'm not arguing with you or anything just asking for my own information :)

The whole upper torso (top heavy) rests on a rather thin ring joint ... is not a very good design decision

man... hot toys is the king when it comes to aesthetics and finish, but they can learn a thing or two from hastak. i've never broken a single TF in my collection and i apply force on some of those toys.

that said, i'm still getting this figure. thank you very much for the caution.

The broken joint seems like an easy fix to me: simply add a super magnet to the lower portion which can move with the hinge and then set the opposite magnet deeper into the upper chest and WHALA...fixed! AND you can take WM's top off - quite literally - anytime you want! :)

Ease of repair is one of the perks of buying $180 collectibles. :lecture

By the way, that was sarcasm.
