Hi, everybody. I hope you all had a nice christmas! I got my Peacemaker last week but there seems to be some scuffs or paint black marks in the trunk part. I would like to know if this is normal since peacemaker has some battle damaged or should i contact SS for a replacement. I'll post some picsView attachment 154526
weathering on this piece is a rush job. mine has artistic brushed at the back, which looks like paint blotches instead
This entire suit is a rush job. Hehehe.
As a matter of fact, it feels kind of rough to the touch. That's why i wondered there is something wrong.
As everyone here has already said, it's likely weathering on HT's part, sinatrastyle. It's smooth, not rough, to the touch, right?
Glad to know i am not the only one. I was gonna contact SS and give them a piece of my mind.
As far as thinking goes, it's thought that Hot Toys are now adding a battle damage look to their figures in order to stop people returning them if they find a mark, scuff or scratch..., makes sense I guess.
theve done this since the mk 4 like 4-5 years ago ...
Interesting, I wonder why people keep bringing it up then or is it just newer collectors? lol
