Yes, I read that breakdown elsewhere, and although I'm actually thinking it's weird for me to admit it, cause I freaking love Snyder, but I think WB was right in bringing whedon in.
I love MOS, and BvS, two of the top all time personal favorite superhero movie of mine. But I can see some of the nitpicks that it could have used some more lighter moments.
Seeing the breakdowns on which one is Snyder, and which one is whedon, I love both parts.
Whedon brought in the lighter elements to make Snyder's movie lighter and even more fun.
So I think it was a brilliant move by WB.
I also think they were correct in keeping the movie to 2 hours, sometimes even when the movie is really good, when it gets past 2 hours, there are many people who would feel that some parts were dragged out it could have been a little shorter.
So it catered to this general public as well...and I felt that the running time is fine, I'm fine seeing the longer parts on an extended bluRay.
So, Ultimately I think the decisions made by warner, and the work by the two directors worked.
I truly love and enjoyed the movie. It was nice to see most of the people think so also, as most of the people clapped at the end of the movie.
