The armor looks way to Anderson though. That and the fact that she's not japanese are the only real negatives.

...I think the armor looks more AVPRish, the chest plate, the alien head in the middle of the belt, and the boots... there is just more curved details sculpted in, than in the AVP designs... hell, the only things that really reminds me of AVP, are the little metal loin thingy, and the spear and Alien head.

This figure looks amazing in every respect (honestly, a lot better than even Hot Toys can hope to achieve in production). But the crappy arm joints really spoil the effect for me.

...then that's whatever for you man. They did an amazing job on her, and regardless of what name the figure gets, I know I'll get one.

But really, how people are saying that the armor looks too Anderson like, PLEASE tell me how, with pictures. Cuz uhhh, from Scar figure I'm looking at right now, compared to the picture on my screen, I'm not seeing many similarities. To me, it looks like a combo of Predator 2 and AvPR with a HINT of AvP in it.

I agree...kind of a combination of both thrown in...more than a hint of pred 2 in the shoulder armor. Also check the tiny plasma cannon. I think the armor looks good, especially the little alien head on the belt area...now, the high heels...I don't know how functional those would be, but they look good.

Which is silly because Aliens dont have "skin". They have an endoskeleton. Bullets bounce off the head, as shown in Aliens.

We all know there was only 1 Predator film and that was Mctiernan's. Besides the two creatures, predators and aliens, shouldn't have met eachother in the first place.

No. No they shouldnt've. Its a cool idea, but the fanbase is just so divided. Plus the movies never get it right. I dont care WHO you like better, the Alien is not cannon fodder. Watch Alien/Aliens/Alien 3/Alien Res, all the Aliens are smart, and dont die easily. (Aliens can be argued, but they showed inteligence (its like, forgive my spelling).)

Oh and I love Predator 2. Its not as good, but its still mega fun. IMO.
