It's good to know I'm not alone.
I'm sure some one out there is willing to prove us wrong, but the "acid for blood" part is characteristic of aliens.

So, it doesn't make much sense to me neither.

Actually, it is totally plausible.

Yes, the Aliens have acid for blood.

But, as was explained by Bishop, the "blood oxidizes at death, completely neutralizing it."

There will be those that argue that Scar used dead Alien blood...but I don't subscribe to AvP's logic. Especially since it was explained about 3 movies before that turd.

So, yeah, they can do whatever they want with a dead Alien and have no fear of acid burns.

I second that. That's totally true. And I totally forgot.

damn sabres , you nerd. :rotfl:lol

No but seriously good call :rock:D

......

Well, after scalping a recently dead alien, Scar also touched it's still active brain in order to remove the.... umm... slime layer. That should have burnt him, but it didn't.
Then he proceeded to place Lex's hand in the head. She seemed fine too.

I know about the oxidation, however, I suspect that it would at least take a few hours to neutralize.
Would anyone really wait that long in such a hostile environment just for a make shift shield that doesn't even offer much protection anyways?

I guess they could if they wanted one really bad! Like myself.

But, again, you're talking about AvP.
And the logic used in that movie is worthless.

We can "guesstimate" about how long the acid takes to neutralize. But, Bishop did state "at death". My guess is it's neutralized alot quicker than a few hours.

Again, it's all guesstimation...

Not necessarily....when Scar removed the top half of the head there was no Yellowish green acidic blood. You would think after centuries of hunting and making Aliens trophies they would know how to do this without injury. Also you're assuming Aliens have the same circulatory system as humans do. Perhaps Aliens have certain areas of their anatomy where the acidic blood doesn't flow.

Possible. Like in the beginning of AVPR where a predator was removing the skin from an alien head there were no blood or mess.

remember its a figure "doing her" would be impossible :lol:lol:lol

Well....not impossible....just expensive. :lol
