Yep I knew that. He also played Kenny in Scream 1 and Bill in the Last of Us.
And of course Warren in There's Something About Mary

Cad Bane only said that about Fett cause he’s testing the waters for his new career in stand up.
Cad Bane will have been going off of his past reputation - he's probably had very little direct information to draw the same conclusions on Boba's behaviour as the viewers have.

If we assume the pre ROTJ Boba is the badass known for random disintegrations was true and he was more than just a dude in a cool set of armour then this will be the Boba that Cad Bane knows both by reputation and personally.

Kinda hoping this more measured Fett is him trying to be something he isn't - despite what he thinks he is or wants to be he was a bounty hunter and one who had no problem working for the Empire and if how he treated those Stormtroopers was anything to go by he was a cold blooded killer.

If things had gone differently he would have had no problem sending Luke, Han and co into the Sarlacc and then would have gone off on his next job.

Man, just reflecting on how great that showdown scene was. There was such tension and the clear threat Bane presented was communicated so cinematically. Some great visual storytelling there.
The dread swirling in the pits of my gut at the prospect of being about to witness Vanth (a character who’s only appear in one 30 min episode!) get murdered in the street was in such stark contrast to the overwhelming nostalgic satisfaction and wholesome appreciation of everything that proceeded it. That episode was something else.

The only disappointing aspect comes from the realisation that, had it been Fett standing in Vanth’s place, I would not have cared less if he ended up dead and probably would have been rooting for Bane to put the character out of his misery and end this disrespect once and for all.
If you’re intent on committing character assassination, at least do it with a bullet.

For the Deadwood fans among us, I just found out that the Weequay bartender in Mos Pelgo Freetown is played by W. Earl Brown who played Dan Dority in Deadwood. Nice little reunion with Timothy Olyphant going on there. :D
That is cool. Now all we need is to reveal the real mastermind behind the spice wars as Ian McShane.

Really thinking this'll be the next announcement as the Boba one is about to release and he's back in in the latest ep. Everything's lined up perfectly, just gotta drop the PO now.

I think once Boba sees the cantina and what happened to Garsa, he'll go on a tirade. Fennec will be like "This is the cost of being merciful with thugs, its time to role heads" And the whole episode is an hour of them hunting down pikes.

This show has made me like Fennec more than boba. Every time shes on screen, shes been all business. Shes like an attack dog and boba is just sitting there having a tea party. He could've said "Go assassinate the leader of the pikes." and she would've ended this whole thing. But he waited too long.

This event needed to happen cause, you can't just have a pacifist Boba decide to start killing. There has to be catalyst that compels him to change. And thats point of the bombing. He just got a rude awakening but now hes awake and theres about to be a reckoning.

I hope that reckoning includes him finding his blaster and jetpack are still functional and that he can once again pilot Slave 1 and traverse locked doors. Your comment about the show making you like Fennec more than Boba is a good one. I really like her to, but it always seems that they think they must lower one character to elevate another and made Boba a doofus in order to make Fennec more of a bad a**. That sounds a lot like KK to me...

I hope you are right. I also hope the final episode is like 80 minutes long. It feels like a lot of stuff needs to happen to come to a good ending.
