I thought it was $399... maybe it was $499 and some retailers were selling it cheaper :dunno

I was still very new to collecting, especially with HT when the original was announced.

All I remember was cancelling my preorder because of the long delay and being hit with a $35 asia dealer penalty. :slap

Then I had an open one in my hand at FP in Manhattan going for $450 and I didn't buy it. :slap

I didn't know what the ____ I was doing. :lol

Not this time, i've been scooled by lolz collecting cat :yess: see Sig for proof :lol

However, the new OC Batman had a few extra things, and it was an exclusive, and almost a brand new figure. The whole "Relaunch" thing seems to me that they're just re-using the old molds and stuff to do a straight re-release.

Also, don't you guys remember that clearance sale that the WB Shop had? $250 for this behemoth...those were the days.

:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

I skipped thinking 'i have no space for this'

I bought it last year for $1000. Still no space for it. :slap:slap:slap

:lol

I just got the Dragon dx11 sherman tank on the premise that one day i will own a bigger home. Sometimes this stuff is just too good to pass up and your inner 9 year old takes over.

Hopefully it will have some differences so that original owners and those who paid inflated prices are screwed. That said, it's still a toy that isn't numbered, so there's nothing that precludes them from releasing it again and again although it may cannibalize some sales and come back to bite them in the butt. Companies often look at crazy aftermarket and figure they can tap into it, but end up with high ESs and unsold product. I'm picking one up this time.

I'm thinking that a "mirror" display will be kind of cool, with the 89 Batmobile side by side with the Tumbler inside of one big coffee table.
