A new picture for a new cape:

Absolutely love this figure. The lforigno cape makes it that much better.

When I owned this figure I used to pose it with the Takara cape - it looked phenomenal. I sold it in the end because I started wondering just how much dust the rubber would attract. If Hot Toys could release a version that was identical to the original except that it repelled dust I would gladly pay $300 for it, it's one of those figures that could easily claim to be 'best figure ever'.

I tried searching but couldn't find anything - I received my OC figure the other day and it has a small glossy black spot on the neck directly under the chin. This isn't unlike Michael from MWCtoys' OC Batman. Anyone know a quick way to fix this without trying to see if I can send it off for a repaint?

Great photos, but they show why a DX OC Batman is needed - the suit is just too bulky, something that tends to be obscured by the excellence of the headsculpt. Now that we've seen the DX02 it just looks like there's too much air between the suit and the Truetype. Still a great figure though.

I don't expect anyone who owns this $400 figure to agree that we need a new version which will drastically reduce the value of their investment!

But the suit in the film looked bulky, that is why this figure is so awesome. To make him slim would be incorrect.

I still feel it could be a better fit, though it shouldn't be slim, but I agree, it is awesome.

BTW I think the worries about the rubber have been overdone - when I owned mine I posed the hell out of my unboxed one, and it never suffered any damage. I also owned a spare suit and body and one time I removed the suit, which meant pulling with all my strength one part of it away from another part to which it had been glued. No rips, tears, nothing. It was only its dust collecting tendencies which annoyed me.

Indeed, if anything, the current figure might be a little slimmer than it should be as is, definitely shouldn't be any slimmer. Bale was bulkier in Begins, and though this costume was seen in TDK I treat it as a new Begins figure.

He was massive in the film though no need to make the figure slimmer it would be wrong. As for a gap between the true type and the suit it dosent really matter unless u start prodding it - once he is standing on your shelf its all about what it looks like not whether the suit is sqidgy or not lol

I can't walk past a figure without picking it up and attempting to find some new action pose for it...

I'll have to go back and watch the movie, I think I'm imagining the suit rather than remembering it.

Yep, he was pretty big in TDK (check the fight scene in the parking garage), you'll remember he said to Fox the suit was carrying too much weight....hence the request for a lighter suit for more speed & the ability to turn his head.

I like the bulky look of the HT. I have the Takara and he looks like he has an eating disorder if not posed correctly.

Stock cape = buff = illusion = complaints about buffness and looks off.

The figure is fine. The cape is not.

Yup ! you re right..

The TDK Batman Begins suit does,nt,need any improvement or DX version, because he is perfect right now and make him slimer would be incorrect.

May be the pics (angle, lights, pose) but my Batman Begins does,nt look bulky...However the old Batman Begins suit (from BB) ..yes,that version looks pretty bulky :monkey2
