It goes on the figure's right arm. Just take off the hand (carefully, maybe heat it up first), then slip the gauntlet right off. You can then slip the pneumatic mangler's gauntlet on its place and replace the hand. The direction of the gauntlet blades (outward from the figure, not inward) also make it very clear how it goes on.

Doesn't the blades go inward? In the movie he used it to cut open the fan.

No I mean the three blades on his gauntlet - the scallops that stick outward (the equivalent blades on the new suit are the ones that shoot out, like he shot into the Joker's face at the end of "The Dark Knight").

He uses the pneumatic mangler to cut open the van (the gauntlet blades don't chew metal like that).

Imagine you are Batman - hold out your right arm straight in front of you, extend your hand, and have your palm face down. The pneumatic mangler and gauntlet slip over your fore-arm. The three blades on the gauntlet will extend outwards, to your right. The two silver extensions will run along the bottom of your fore-arm. They meet at the hinged, flat silver block, which should be on the under-side of your hand (so your palm lays flat against it).

It's this hinged, flat silver block which is a pneumatically powered device that lets him grab and twist metal (like an exo-skeleton enhancement). He uses it to twist the fake "Bat-man"'s rifle in the parking garage, and then attempts to slice the van that the Scarecrow escapes in.

Bottom left pic, it faces out from the under side of the forearm/palm.

I used it for a photo to recapture that opening shot of him in TDk but that's about it, glad they included it but it's one of those accessories I feel are great on film but in a still moment representation like a figure on display, it's not as powerful.

Ohh... I thought you were talking about the mangler. My bad. Yeah I know the gauntlets face outward. But I like the comic way where it faces backwards. To me it seems so much better.

yeah awesome!
Here is one another pic in hd :D

I really thinking to do big posters but I don't know. Are people could be interested? ;)
