Being displayed as a 2.0, what do people think is different?
USB lighting?
USB lighting?
I think the main draw is not having to open all those compartments just to turn on the lights not to mention the batteries barely lasting a few minutes each. It would be nice to just plug it up and flip one switch and all the lights come one. Or, like what Morgan's Workshop does with his modded IM figures - have an internal USB rechargeable battery and then all you have to do is just a press of a button and everything lights up.Never got the original release, but is USB that desireable?
We cannot keep it on constantly as the lights are not meant to be....so I just don't get why USB is that desireable?
Yeah, keep cost down, focus on sturdiness and posability. Use simple bust inside to simulate a figure within. If they were smart they'd dump that cram-a-whole-figure-inside gimmick entirely, added nothing but problems
Maybe Hot Toys are only using USB for the display............Never got the original release, but is USB that desireable?

I got my 1.0 from BBTS back in the good ole days for $825 plus $4 shipping and no tax.How much did the original go for BTW?
It is odd that any videos of it being motorized is not uploaded. The 2.0 is supposed to have the motorized open/close feature, if you remember the movie premiere back then had a Hulkbuster figure displayed that is motorized made from a different company, HT supposedly is doing that with this 2.0 version. People have seen the 2.0 open/close in action at HK toyfair this past week but no one made a video of it...
