I'm kinda in love with this flying Hulk smash pose for when I get my deluxe Hulk. Anyone able to confirm if Hulk is too heavy for the dynamic figure stand?

Excellent post, the DC crowd is definitely a jaded crowd. Marvel is a younger, more happy go lucky forum.

I think a lot of that has to do with membership. Most of the DC threads are inhabited by people that have been members here for around a decade. We started out with $140 releases back when the MMS #s were in the lower double digits. There's going to be some cynicism.

The Marvel section is mostly filled with bright eyed users that have been here for a couple of months to a couple of years. Besides, at the rate/pace these releases pop up each week, there's really no time to take them in, let alone criticize them. Before you know it, a release is old news. Nobody can really be a stickler for accuracy when the reference material is in short supply since . . . the movie hasn't even come out yet.

The DC section and other boards are pretty much dead anyway. There's little to no activity (and when there is, it's non-Hot Toys collectibles) and it's only the same 6-8 people. It's a Stark difference to this place where it's like a bunch of ADD kids that got a hold of cocaine laced candy.

:lol Yeah.

Speaking on Marvel stuff, I love the characters, I love the comics. I enjoy most of the movies, but I don't really have high standards going in, tbh . They're usually a lot of fun. But buyin' $ 220 + dolls of them? Nah. :lol No way. I couldn't imagine feeling the need to keep up with all these releases. Especially variants of the same character. It gets obsessive, unhealthy even.

Well there's not many DC figures being released now, so there's not much to talk about in the threads. Talking about the lack of BR is pretty much all that is going on.

The HT Nolan Batman obsession has come to an end over the last year, so there hasn't been much excitement for upcoming releases. The Batman Armoury and Bat signal packs haven't been that popular it seems.

I expect it will all turn around with Batman vs Superman next year.

Did they improve the hair? Doesn't look as afro as the first prototype.

Glad I'm JC Hong's friend on Facebook :lol didn't realize it wasn't posted here yet.

This makes me glad I have this guy PO

Looks like 1/6 to me :dunno Hulk's head is significantly bigger than the standard 1/6 head.

Cool, definitely not complaining - better that the pics on the PO page. I missed out on the first Hulk and have the deluxe on order and can't wait to see a HT Hulk in person.
