So anyway. I have high hopes that any character from Returns will be revealed at SDCC in a few weeks.

Make this happen Hot Toys!

I actually do think they're going to give us a Returns reveal at SDCC. Maybe I'm just being an optimist, but Hot Toys has to know that a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman would just be a license to print money, right? At the very least, give me Keaton in the Returns armor as I missed him the first time around...

I think I am all out of hope. The next time I think we see a Batman, will be the Affleck version. I hope I'm wrong though.

I'm hoping you are wrong! After Guardians of the Galaxy in August until Avengers 2 in May, Hot Toys doesn't have any new movies to work with. In that 8/9 Month period i'm hoping to see something like Returns,Arkham and Star Wars

AoU: Iron Man(regular), Iron Man (Hulk Buster), Black Widow, Hawkeye, Cap, Ultron, Hulk(possibly), Quicksilver(probable), Scarlett Witch(probable), Thor(probable),
Nick Fury(Probable), Vision(probable)

GoG: Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Drax, Star Lord, Ronan, Nebula,

That's as good a list as I can think of, and that's a lot of figs. Not counting possible exclusive versions, or die cast versions of Iron Man.

I doubt they just ignore DC for that long. And Keaton Batman does seem to be the most logical thing to fill that hole. But they also have Batman 66 they can pull from too. And we know they are releasing that Batmobile. I hope to see Returns figs, as I missed the first Keaton Batman, and prefer the Returns suit anyway. But they are ragging their feet. But there is always hope.

Damn it! I've tried to get the moral back up! You've ruined it! :lol :lol

Well, working in our favor is that Hot toys did release a ton of figures this year. The DC specifics 3 MoS figs, Batman 66, and the Armory sets. Next year the only DC thing I see is the 66 Batmobile. They will not let DC just hang on the vine like that. So Arkham(with a new game coming with lots of hype) and Returns could be the releases. Hell the only other big video game licenses they seem to be pulling from are Resident Evil(no new game on the horizon), and MGS(Phantom Pain could mean a new Big Boss figure).

The last teaser pic( June 6 )from Hot Toys looked like they are almost done with the Guardians of the galaxy figures. They will have the final prototypes( All Team) ready for the SDCC 2014 display.

So.... Plenty of time for DC !!!:wink1:

Keep reassuring yourselves bros, it still won't happen. Hot Toys ways are as unpredictable as the weather.

I can't even picture a proper Returns Batman, let alone a Penguin from them at the rate they're going. Seems too unique and different from them and not really a safe prospect as far as business goes. I'm still not convinced that they've actually made them. The announcement seems like a ploy to bolster interest in them as a company than anything else. Just look at what some of these announcements have done publicity for them, gets people talking.

I think we'll see Arkham City figures at San Diego, but not Batman Returns. Hot Toys seems to stagger its Batman releases so there aren't too many in one year, and I think with Arkham Knight coming out, those are the figures we'll see at the show if anything DC is revealed.

I thought that too, but Arkham Knight did get pushed back and is TBA sometime in 2015.

That's another thing that we don't know, Hot Toys might have their hands tied if the licensors and WB dictate what they can release and when. There might be some decisions Hot Toys might love to make, but can't.

All I know is, the slots are going to be pa led to the brim with Marvel releases between GOTG and Avengers 2. The list of characters, both old and new, will be off the charts.

Man, if I had a nickel for every time someone on Hot Toys' facebook wall posted "Batman Returns" or "Back to the Future", I'd be a very, very rich man. It's insanity! Literally every event comments section has "BATMAN RETURNS!" "BACK TO THE FUTURE!" "WHERE ARE THEY, WHERE IZZZZ THE TRIGGERZZZZ!"

Stuff a sock in it.
