I wonder if this movie turns into black panther and popularity pushes more fighures...its supposedly doing really well over seas and the early reviews seem strong. A black manta, mera, ocean master, and some of the crazy cool sea people would be cool at 1/6 scale.

Articulation looks week but this aquaman seems more like a brawler so i dont think he needs to be super dynamic. Im not a fan of the side eye portrait but for iconic look i can give it a go. Cool looking though...now just need the new superman to have an updated trinity

Movie was super good, dont compare it with Black Cat.

Yeah the sculpt and hair are off, but I think it's really the pale complexion that jumps out the most to me. I mean, have they ever seen Mamoa??

The sculpt really is a missed opportunity. his hair was never that puffy looking. it needs more blonde highlights and should have draped behind him more. With a lot more of a wet appearance. its a shame. but ill get it nevertheless

The colors need to be reversed also, the top is more orange, and the waist could be trimmed down, wet look for the win, Mera, black manta and then orm please

There's no way they'd show two new Aquamen when there's one that hasn't even come out yet. The fact that they are already willing to cut their losses on the JL version genuinely surprises me. The armored variant might be something for down the road as a convention exclusive, like T'Chaka was. If anything, Mera would be the figure to show. She could be the DC version of Black Widow for HT.

Yeah this movie will easily cross the billion mark, it's putting up huge numbers before even opening in the States.

HT should obviously make Mera and Black Manta but they don't always do the obvious. Look at their poor choice of Harley Quinn variants from SS when what most of us wanted was the classic Harlequin outfit.

Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman would be a huge seller but to this day no sign of that figure. With HT take nothing for granted.

I agreed with you .. on mera and black manta .. also with the Harley Q .

Batman 80th years is up now .. May be hot toys can come out with something .. special I doubt it but we can only hope ..

If this was iron man .. 5th year I’m pretty sure Howard Chang will be celebrating bigger than his own birthday party ..

I just hope for a least mera .. so it serve as companion to aquaman

Some people just want to complain. Of course there will not be a second one before the first one is even released.

This is a figure that would definitely benefit from rooted hair. Then it could have been thinned out, treated with product, and made to look wet. Missed opportunity with yet another long-haired male figure.

The rediculous thing is the people who want another version but are going out of their way to bash this hoping it's not a success would be sealing the fate of any variants.

I guess no one ever reads the text "Prototype shown is not final..."

This will have zero changes upon release. They don't listen to critiques anymore. And I really want them to because the one figure I want from this year will likely be released as is...Solo from Solo.
