It seen like nothing was announced today by hot toys may be we get lucky tomorrow since is the world premiere in USA and most of the world.

Crossing fingers .. to mera or black manta tomorrow Friday ..

Isn't it unlikely they'd put a figure up for pre-order before showing them at a convention first? We saw this prototype months before it went up for pre-order.

Arkham Batgirl was shown six months ago and still we await that pre-order. I wouldn't expect to see more Aquaman pre-orders before the new year.

Uhm ..

But hot toys have drop the ball on Dc .. but by the look and how well the movie is being received.. I mean the movie is hot ... by all means ... I have to wait until next Tuesday to be able to see it but I have been reading every day how is doing .. and people reviews .. and all it seen to be point that is an amazing movie ..

Which could lead hot toys to release a figure without even pre show at cons ..

Are you not hoping for that .? Have you pre order ? This or statue .?

It wouldn't be unprecedented to see a figure go up for pre-order without it being shown at a convention. Movies release year round, and sometimes there aren't any shows lined up beforehand. That said, I'm not expecting a slew of HT Aquaman movie figures in the coming days. I could see Mera being released by year end, then maybe Black Manta later if the film proves to have legs in the weeks/months ahead.

I'm hoping they reveal Mera and Manta soon indeed...just not getting my hopes up.

Not gonna pre-order this figure until I know we are getting other figures to go with Aquaman. It's a movie that deserves a lot more than a single figure!

My favourite Aquaman piece revealed so far is Sideshow's Premium Format. They got the likeness and colours spot on and it has the best pose of any Aquaman statue I've seen to date.

Why is nearly every shot of the figure in the PO gallery taken from the same side/angle? Some variety would have been welcomed.

Terrible hair aside, there is some bizarre proportions problems going on with the legs.

This was also the case with the recent tactical batman where they gave him stumpy looking legs. The legs should the longest part of his body yet it looks to be the same height as his upper half. They really need to extend his legs from the knee down. Doubt it'll happen though.

Makes me sad that we prob won't be getting mera from hot toys or premium format size or bigger. Supporting females don't get much love

The more I see it .. the more I see this figure some how is so way off ...

I have pre ordered hoping that final product will be change somehow ..

Just think back when hot toys release the Batman BvS ..the regular version and it was more like Fatman than BATMAN .... but they fix it ...may be we can hope for that here too ...

After watching this amazing film..i really have porblems with the figure. Not even the hair thats off and poofy for some reason. In the film his neck tats are HIGHLY visible above where the suit ends on his neck. How did HT miss that...a second time. Yes i guess its ultimately minor. But this version of aquaman is flooded with tattoos. How could they miss something so highlighted on the character on 2 different versions. Or maybe im the only one that cares haha

Not you are not the only one ... but it would have to be ... at least 1000 of us to formally complain and may be just may be .. they will take our complements into count ..

The JL aquaman is not that bad I think of then 2 the JL is the best up to now ... but this version is just so wrong ... badly done .. in every single aspect.. body .. hair .. sculpt... all

I’m also disappointed with the lack tattoos. Another thing that looks off is his upper body. I was comparing it to the JL version and he looks a bit bloated in comparison. The pattern of the scales may be contributing to that impression, but the JL version has more taper & simply looks better proportioned. It makes you think Arthur spent a lot of time at that seaside bar after JL. . Hopefully this gets tweaked as well.

Hot Toys has a bad habit of making the legs look shorter by using short pegs, specially on a real muscular body like Batman.
I agree with you. That's why I had to use ankle extenders on both my SS and BvS batman.
The legs bothered me more than the getting a custom cape.

That's why I love the proportions on the HT MOS Superman. On that one, the legs were just the right length.
Fortunately, this is just a quick fix, and the easiest. Just get an ankle extender and I'm sure that Aquaman would be fine with it.

I don't care about aquaman, not pre-ordering this or the JL version, but man Hot Toys should really do Black Manta. That for sure will be bought.

Just got back from seeing the movie and I thought it was good. I would be more on board with getting this version if they do some tweaks. Waiting for in hand pics before I decide which version to get.

The HT suit on these pictures is really poor.
The chest should be a bit more muscular and they completely messed up the hip's golden plates on the sides.
It makes Aquaman look like he's got lady hips.
