It's not a statue. The actual product may be different, but the piece in the photograph clearly has articulation and is mixed media, although the latter doesn't necessarily preclude it being a statue (Sideshow PFs for example).

I think maybe the text is either mis-translated or they are considering not including the base.

This is what I thought.. These Takeya guys or whoever made this statue, then teamed up with HT to make a figure out of the Predator in the statue.

It's one dude. He's done two rather famous Alien/Predator statues as well as a variety of other things. One being the Alien Pile, the other being the Predator on a Horse.

This though, at least according to this was only designed and painted by Takayuki Takeya and Hot Toys alum Yuji (I think right?) did the sculpting.

if it's a figure how come the pose hasn't changed from the first leak photo, to the promo shots, to magazine shoot photo, even the plastic enemies photos and this displayed figure in the con, all has the same pose? Only difference is the head gear.

That is pretty badass looking... don't have any personal interest in owning it. But still very cool statue
