Thanks mate. I've made a load of P2 ones too. Too soon maybe?

Once you get a creative vibe going, it can get tough to slow down. Let the current ones sink in a bit, otherwise it kind of defeats the purpose of the sig group.

If it wasnt quite so cartooney looking (and the alien was not see through purple), I would THINK about it, but for the money and the fact that it just wouldnt match the line - easy pass...

Also, I love that they just skipped the background tab. ;-O

Yes it does.

It was both.. she was part of the never-was Hot Angel line but in order for HT to make the figure to begin with (since it used Predator stuff) it had to be under a Predator/Fox license (since that character is part of the comic book). So they just slapped on "AVP" like they did with this figure. But neither are featured in the movies that they're licensed under.

Thanks. I always wondered why that line never did anything.

Not opinion, fact.

Not a fact you could support with any logical validity. It's your opinion, and it's a weak one.

Nothing racist about it.

Nothing at all. Your bias is much, much worse.

Although I love the idea of an artist series of Predators this guy simply isnt doing it for me, hes too far removed from normal Predator physiology. Im not crazy about the price but Id be tempted to pay it if it was more in line with the other Predators, as is he simply wont fit amongst the others I have and if thats the case then whats the point of shelling out that kinda cash. truthfully he doesnt even look like a predator at all. This is just my opinion however and if you are getting this figure then I say "More power to ya!"

I don't follow the Predator franchise (except the original movie). Was this Pred in any film or are they just making it up as they go? Did he have some special role to justify this price?

Completely original, they say the high price is cos it's a "famous" sculpter or artist doing it.

I'm loving everything about this figure except for the price, I hope it can go lower, but I doubt it.

Same here, although i think HT should revsit the pricer (lower) as there seems to be too many interested but turned away cos of the price.

So when is this supposed to hit Q2 it was just as packed before they announced this .

Q2 is getting really packed.

With the change on HT.JP of Baby Doll to Dec from Nov instead of the SSC change to Q2, i hope HT.JP is correct, that would mean the change of Jake Sully, Amber & MK2 to Q2 is likely false too.

As it is (according to SSC):

Jake Sully
Amber
Baby Doll
Iron Meh Mark 2
Iron Meh Iron Monger
Predators Noland
DX Luke Skywalker
Samurai Predator

Q1 is looking like this:

Tron Sam Flynn Lightcycle
Batman '89
Joker '89
Iron Meh Gantry
Brothersfree Monkey 1
Brothersfree Monkey 2
Classic Predator

I would love to get this Samurai Pred but the price is too much for me. It is not a matter of affordability but a matter of willingness to dish out the amount of money for this, cool as it may be.

Will have to stick to admiring the great in-hand pictures that will no doubt be posted on this board when this Pred starts to ship.

Congrats to all who are getting this. This is a really cool figure.

This is going to be my second Predator purchase, besides classic. But if hot toys wants to make artist figures, I would appreciate comic preds, like Broken Tusk and Topknot from the avp comics. Keep a watch in the custom thread soon, I'm making it happen detailed for both!

I was planning on getting the Iron Monger but after really looking this figure over for a few days I think I am gonna pass on the Monger and opt for this one instead. The detail is absolutely amazing and bar none some of the best work I have seen from Hot Toys. I am a huge predator fan and though it is far removed from the normal line its nice to see something different for a change.

I will admit I snickered at the thought of this when I first saw the pictures and automatically dismissed it as garbage. After re-evaluating this in the sense that its supposed to be an artistic interpretation of a predator in maybe another universe I saw the real beauty in it. Its an art piece for the line and I think its great Hot Toys is trying to do something different for some of there lines. Incredible work of art and of course as always IMHO..........

Good thing. This piece is for those who like it. Unlije the Iron Man, Batman, Spiderman, etc., movie figures, which a lot of people just buy to complete the franchise.

For example, Noland from Predators. I personally think it is a bad idea for a figure since it had 30 minutes of screen time at most and i feel he was only used to give a bit more info of what was really going on in the movie.

I think the Yakuza deserved a figure more than Noland; even the convict I liked better. But hey, completists will by it regardless and I guess only a few will buy it for its wow factor.

Or it could be a Predator who witnessed the Battle of the Falconer Predator vs Hanzo, and just Adapted Hanzo's Fighting Style :p
