Looks great. Definitely out of my price range.

Hot Toys is in a tough spot. They occasionally truly nail a headsculpt, and unfortunately that sets a really difficult standard for them meet on every figure. Not every figure can be as good as battle damaged RoboCop. This is art, and we're taking about artists. They can't machine out a perfect likeness every time.

I thought that's going to be prototype for HT. He tease a stuff without any damn word, please just don't do that. Tell people right at the start, it's going to be custom produced head.

But if he did that, how would he generate any hype for himself and get people posting about it on social media and these forums?

A bit of discussion about the 85 design from ILM-

How did you enhance the Iron Man, War Machine and Iron Patriot models?
The suits evolve with each and every film. No one knows these suits as well as Bruce Holcomb, who was built or touched just about every Iron Man and War Machine suit over the last ten years. For Iron Mark 85, based off the great art, we got from the team at Marvel, we tried to combine the bleeding edge and nanotech feel of the suit from INFINITY WAR, with a little more of the traditional rigid suit feel from CIVIL WAR. We wanted to keep the nanotech that brings the suit on and off, but try to do it in a way that made it feel a bit more rigid/mechanical. This was true for the Gauntlet as well. It happens quickly, but if you watch carefully, you will see the nano / liquid metal forming the framework and individual panel pieces that then lock into place. This was done to help sell a more physical / less magical feel for the suits. We also introduced some subtle patterning to the materials on the suit to give it some visual interest.

Not quite the right thread, but an awesome picture as always from you :clap

By the way, really don't know what holds Hot Toys back from releasing the secret accessory...

Sorry guys. Was in a rush when I posted (headed to my daughter's graduation. I removed and put it in the correct thread. Getting old stinks lolz.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this question here:

I ran into this UK based shop https://homeboytoys.com/ recently.

The owner is called Mark Gallagher.

He used to sell things on ebay (username: markygal12), but now has his own shop.

He offers several Hot Toys pre-orders for pretty good prices. And currently he is even offering a 20% discount on all items and free international shipping.

He also has a facebook and twitter account.

I asked him some questions about the deposite, cancellation and so on via email. He always answered quickly and friendly. But his shop just looks unfinished and unprofessional.

Does anyone know this seller? Is he trustworthy? The already good prices with 20$ discount are just too attractive...

Follow the old saying - "too good to be true".

Is it 20% or $20? You have it both ways in your post.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Hot Toys retailers weren't allowed to discount any more than 8%. You might want to verify.

Most of the figures do have almost normal prices, though. Mark 85 costs 406 USD (Sideshow 423 USD). Tony Stark Team Suit 228 USD (Sideshow 235 USD). It's not really "too good to be true" yet.

The 20% discount and international free shipping make the deals so attractive.

He has 99.3% positive rating on ebay. But the way he does business unsettles me. First, I can't register on the shop. And for the deposite, he would send me a Paypal invoice. I don't know if it's understandable because he is just starting a new business. I was hoping that someone from UK knows him.
