Definitely plan to order this, but man, at that price I'm glad this really will be the last IM armor I have to consider buying.
I actually thought it might be more. Since the diecast Mark VII was announced after the Mark L and was $433. I wasn’t sure if this would make it to like $450 or higher. Glad it didn’t.

Just been on sideshow's chat and they've had some tech problems, so those aren't the final payment plan dates, they'll likely change to the run up to release

The Mark VII is loaded though, the Mark L has an accessory pack and I'm sure the 85 will have one too.

I guess that’s true. The VII seems like a more loaded package overall, although most of it isn’t really big stuff (aside from the pod suit). Just a lot of interchangeable pieces. Curious what the yet to be revealed accessories with the 85 will be.

Truth be told I don’t find most of the things in the accessory pack for the L to be that exciting. The thing I’d want most out of it if I was getting that figure would be the battle damaged helmet.

I, too, will be out after Endgame... until they make a 3.0 Mk. I... and re-release the Mk. XLV and XLVII... and make 1/4 scales of all the main movie armors... then after that, for-sure 100% done, until they reboot him with a new actor and make all those, which I will get, but after that...

As long as Hot Toys makes Iron Man figures, I will get them.

I guess my wallet should thank me that its only been the appeal of RDJ as Iron Man for these figures. Probably why I only order ones that I display with the headsculpt: 4, 7, 46, 50 and eventually this one.

This being a new, and maybe last, headsculpt for Tony is a bonus for this one to me. I passed on the 50 but I'll almost certainly get this one.

I'm not liking the price of this one at all, but I do like the classic look of the Mark 85. It will look amazing next to my Mark 4(the only Ironman figure I own). I'm definitely glad I decided to wait on preordering the Mark 50 now.

Well I guess look at it this way, the 85 is not as expensive as the DC Mark VII. And also there will be more accessories coming to the 85.

:lol

I haven't bought a new HT Iron Man since the BD Mk7. I have 7 figures (including the original WM MKI). I always told myself $300 was my threshold. And since they switched to DC, they've all been over that. Then I decided maybe I'd get just 1 DC figure, but if I do I know I will want more. I'd really like to have the DC MK4, MK7 and concept MK46. My fav 3 armors so far (along with Silver Centurion & Heartbreaker). I was tempted for the DC War Machine MK I & the MK46/MK47, but I stood tall and held off..

I decided to concentrate more on my favorite HT SW figures. The only MCU figure I've PO'd since the BD MK7 is the IW Doc Strange. For some reason, I really like the MCU version as I was never a big fan of the comic book version of Doc Strange.

So stay true to yourself, stand strong and it's possible to break/not fall into a HT Iron Man addicition!!!:yess:

Man, you must have a will of iron. How can you stand it! I've managed to hold out on the DC4 because I have the DC6, but the DC5, MK45 and MK46 are must own in my opinion. That said my favourite figure is the all plastic Retro Sneaky.

But you're right, if you buy one DC figure, you will crumble!

I can't work out if you have the Silver Centurion and Heartbreaker or not. If you haven't the Centurion is very good value. It's an extremely solid figure (despite being all plastic) with no rubber or visible screws and does come with a head sculpt (Rose Hill Tony). I play with mine a lot, so recommend.

Hi res....my god this suit is beautiful!

It's beautiful - no doubt about that - but I wish it had a different arc reactor shape - it's exactly the same as the MK50 and the suit is overall too smooth - it really needs some texture or battle damage.

Looks to have the widest torso of any IM figure yet.

Like others have said, I will be waiting for the movie to decide if this is the ONE to buy. If it's the armor Tony dies in then it's pretty much a done deal but otherwise I may stick with my mk 46. I make exceptions for Batman, Spider-Man and Captain America when buying multiples. Iron Man isn't there for me yet. Maybe Endgame will change that.
