For sure this will get a repaint in the future; it's inevitable. However having this next to the Mark IV would be a really great contrast.
The size of this figure looks absolutely massive. I'm curious how that's going to affect the price tag.

Assuming they put this up for order in 2019, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a variant paint scheme as a SDCC 2020 exclusive. But it will probably be some neon colored monstrosity and not silver and black.
so gaudy It looks like a Rescue Bot [emoji38]
Im hoping HT will change the color like they did with that blue Loki figure.
could this be a plastic release? i'm thinking no way that waist grabber could support the flight pose if the figure was diecast
look out for that version as an exclusive down the road if this gets released
There may be a ton of plastic involved, but it’s still going to be called a diecast figure. No reason Hot Toys would drop that streak now. Unless they didn’t call the Hulkbuster diecast either.

They changed Loki to be accurate to a different scene in the film, not to cave to the whiny masses.
Besides, Hot Toys doesn't get to "decide" what color a character is. Marvel Studios TELLS them what color a character is.
With that said, IF THEY send this figure to production , it is a big, complex and expensive set of entirely new molds. So chances are they'll find a way to reuse it, ie alternate/concept art colorways.
