Just to be on the safe side, don't take your pistol with you when you give them a piece of your mind. You might get a police escort home, or a segment on the news, lol.

Cause of all the deadly shootings all over the USA, everybody has a concealed weapons license or a gun for protection period. He couldn't get half way in the door before everybody would light him up. That's life in America now.

Lol. I was just kidding. I was thinking he was sounding a tad serious.

...now back to our show! :p

I really wished the tag was metal, but the sticker has a 3D feel to it with some printed shadowing that works in this scale.

With the tooling costs they sunk into this, I can't imagine them not doing the Mr Fusion version. They need to make some sales.

...well, I started on my conversion as we speak. Since I do have a second DeLorean coming my way soon. I've decided to convert this part 1 car to the part 3 desert car. Started very simple today, added more wiring to match the part 3 vehicle. Next week, I'll start working on the. Mr.Fusion conversion parts. I wasn't planning on starting on this now. But heck, why wait! ;)

I'll eventually start a new thread else where on this forum to show my progress.

I also have 2 on order. My second set of flex payments are due this week so I'm hoping to have them in hand very soon. No sure what I'll do with the second right away but probably going to eventually convert it to Pt III as well

My first post and with pics. I ordered two of these DeLoreans. Just in case I run into the same quality issues I had with the 89 Batmobile. I got one of them and so far so good. So for my second one which probably won't get here till next month, I plan on converting it to the part 3 car with the 50's white wall tires and lifted front suspension. For the mean time, here are my pics.

First, stellar photos! I couldn't be more excited to own this! Sadly I must wait until June. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing the Part III version. Don't forget the Pepsi logo on the Time Circuits crate. ;)

Two DeLoreans? Wow, you must be rich! :rotfl
My thoughts exactly. :)

This is getting so tempting and the $400 in reward points I have would really help. I just feel like I'll be able to get this guy for closer to $600 eventually...

Somebody tell me I'm wrong and to just order this now:lol Any discounts available on this anyway? Every little thing will help.

Just the monthly code B3M1N3, and that's $20.00 off.

Given our $, and the likely-hood this is not produced in great numbers I would dump my RPs (at least some) towards this. I'm working a trade to get this as it is, otherwise I cannot afford this.

Just a hunch, but I think the price of this goes up before down especially in the long term. I don't think hot toys will over produce it. Of course I have been wrong before. If hot toys never makes a part 2 version, this piece will be ridiculous in the aftermarket a few years down the line.

There is no chance this will go down in value, this will end up like the medicom Akira bike.

Did anyone notice Hot Toys molded the detail on the "spare tire" battery cover wheel correctly, but did not mold the actual wheels correctly? I am speaking of the concentric indentation on the spokes between the rim and hub.

It would be one thing if the actual wheels and the spare were consistent in detail, but the spare is actually more detailed/correct than the ones mounted on the four corners.
