Congrats. Probably a wise move. Also, a few (including mine) have minor factory damage, so could potentially be better dealing national rather than international.

Yes that played into my thinking. The extra cost incurred, had the Hong Kong option come through customs unscathed, isn't much when spread over two years. Fingers crossed no damage though. :lol

Good move. Im seriously doubting the part2 delorean will ever happen.

I would suggest you speak to hunter about getting some goodyear decals as they will improve the look of the car considerably. Ive added a few more mods myself, but the tyre decals on their own will make the car better

Whoa that does look quite a lot better. Hunter is on this forum? excuse my ignorance.

If HT do release the hover version I wonder if it will be able convert back to regular mode or just be permanently set to hover. They'd have to include some sort of stand I assume.

from this picture it looks like the wheels would be folding. I still think swappable wheels is the way to go. that way, we can get alot closer to screen accurate

Awesome, thanks for all the help guys. :) I'll look into the decals when I have the car set up...still have to find somewhere to display it and leave room for Doc and Marty when they release later this year.

Having seen Danoby2's recent YT video it obviously is possible to do some kind of conversion but I wouldn't dare attempt something like that myself. Maybe something to think about in the future if we get nothing more from Hot Toys.

Edit: While I remember to ask what is it I need to hook the car up to the mains power rather than having to use batteries?

Basically If I don't see the flying Delorean at this years San Diego Comic Con then i think i'd have to consider it cancelled.

I think it's certain to be there with the BTTF2 figures but that doesn't mean it's any more likely to go into production. They had the BvS Batmobile in the recent HT catalogue and just just a few later HC confirmed that isn't happening. Really hope I'm wrong but I imagine they'll tease the hover Delorean several more times before either cancelling or finally putting it up for pre-order.

its a simple mod. just dont glue gun it as 1) it didnt need to be, but i think its cos he wanted to do that hover crane setup thing and 2) its a really tacky way of fixing it all together imo. i still want to know where he got the wheel struts from as i would like a set in 1/6th and 1/8th scale

They look like they were copied from the aoshima kit and scaled up. Very easy to replicate.

Sorry to ask again but can any UK collectors who have this tell me what I need to connect it to the mains. I don't want to risk damaging it. :lol I assume it goes through batteries pretty fast so a mains connection seems more sensible long term.

Asking again,
Question. I have a 40 Gallon fish tank, and I have LED lights around the top. I used double sided tape to stick the lights up, but after a couple months all of the LED lights fell down. What kind of glue can I use on fish tank glass and LED strip lights. These are the LED lights I have https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This interests me to for the LED's in my detolfs. They fall down with the sticky pads provided, they fall down eventually with every type of double sided tape I've tried. I was starting to think gravity works differently in my house to everywhere else. :lol Hopefully someone has a solution.

Use carpet tape. It has an embedded mesh and is mega sticky. It's designed to keep carepts in place, and works well with detolf lights too.

Arrived this morning just got round to unpacking it, no damage thankfully. It's bigger than I imagined, pics and video don't really show the full scale until you have it hand. Can't imagine how huge the Batmobile's must be! Really couldn't be more impressed, apart from the time circuits not lighting up it's perfect from my point of view. Sucks not having Marty or Doc to put inside the car, hurry up and release them Hot Toys!

A quick pic, poor mobile quality sorry :lol I need to find some way of displaying this beast. What kind of shelf would be big enough to take the car and leave enough room to display the figures next to it? Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks for the tip. Now do I put that tape on the metal around the top of the tank, or should I put it on the glass of the fish tank?

I know many people bought a custom perspex box for theirs. I on the other hand found an ex shop display unit for £20 to which i added some fabric at a cost of £10. So for 30 notes, i think i did well. Of course, it all depends on how much space you have. Ive seen one person have an encased coffee table. Search gumtree.

Nice pic by the way
